Movie Review: Parker is the film's standout star!

Sex and the city has become iconic with New York City. In a recent poll it was ranked at Number 7 for the most recognizable symbols of New York. The combination of the energy and on-screen chemistry of the talented ladies of "Sex" has created a worldwide phenomenon.
As filming wrapped on the TV series, Sarah Jessica Parker had become a household name. Her elegance and style have been recognized on a worldwide platform. Elle Magazines 2007 "Most Fashionable Woman In The World", Parker has been the key to the sex franchise success.
Swirling in excitement and skepticism, the "Sex and The City" film delivers on all levels. With a darker mood and a stronger story than any of the episodes of the series, the characters are explored on a deeper level. Parker is naturally the films standout with her powerful heart wrenching performance as Carrie Bradshaw.
Still, all of the ladies feature standout performance. Kim Catrall reprises her role as the sex crazed socialite Samantha Jones. Samantha has recently turned 50 and she is hotter than ever. Miranda is settled in her life with Steve and Brady but a storyline twist will keep you interested. Charlotte's character is stronger in the film. She helps to ground the girls through their challenges and complicated lives.
At series end Carrie and Big were making plans to be together. Spring ahead 4 years and the happy couple are moving forward, but maybe not fast enough for Bradshaw.
"Sex" will tear your heart out at times but is exciting, engaging and definitely not a letdown for fans of the series.
