I was very fortunate to see Seu Jorge perform last year. It was a very special experience and I lingered in a pleasant, post-show Seu Jorge hangover for quite some time. This dvd of his concert at Montreux is very true to the experience I had. This dvd primarily consists of an acoustic set with many songs that were originally recorded on Cru. The music is pure, simple, raw, and gorgeous, which only adds to the soul and dramatic demeanor of Seu Jorge. This concert will give you an excellent feel for why this guy rocks, and is one of the most talked about artists on the international scene.

Seu Jorge is a Brazilian superstar who was brought to a wider audience by the release of his album "Cru", one of the best-selling world music albums of 2005, and by his appearance in the film "The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou", in which he played a guitar-strumming deckhand who regularly contributed David Bowie songs sung in Portuguese. 2005 also saw Seu Jorge?s first appearance at the Montreux Festival where he performed many of the tracks from "Cru".Tracklisting:
