Movie Review: My wife loves it

My wife loves it....Hugh Grant in typecast role as a softspoken impassionate gentlemen and Emma Thompson is great. Alan Rickman is not a bad guy either which was a shock . I was expecting him and Bruce Willis to duke it out at any moment...but Bruce is not in this and this movie has nothing to do with die hard...but you get my point. Rickman plays a distant gentleman which is an easy transition for a typecast bad guy.Movie Review: A great video library addition

Followed the book quite well. Outstanding acting. Great cast. First time I had really watched Kate Winslet and Emma Thompson in action. Truly fine actresses. The screenplay by Emma Thompson well deserved the Oscar. Consider it one of the best of Jane Austen's work. Another great Ang Lee works.Movie Review: One of my favorites!
