This is a great movie. Of course it is not as good as the book, but close enough. I love Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman. This was my first time to watch this movie. I have not seen the other makes of it. I will be watching this over.Movie Review: Fantastic film!

My wife loves it....Hugh Grant in typecast role as a softspoken impassionate gentlemen and Emma Thompson is great. Alan Rickman is not a bad guy either which was a shock . I was expecting him and Bruce Willis to duke it out at any moment...but Bruce is not in this and this movie has nothing to do with die hard...but you get my point. Rickman plays a distant gentleman which is an easy transition for a typecast bad guy.
