Movie Review: Jane Austen Reincarnated

How many of us have felt that we are one of Jane Austen's characters reincarnated? Her characters are real to us and share the same feelings even though they were created years ago. That's the way I feel about Elinor and Marianne in Sense and Sensibility. Being the older sister, I have suffered with my little sister many times. The love between these characters is very real. This movie is one of my favorite Austen adaptations. Emma Thompson did a fabulous job with the screenplay. And, dare I say it? ALMOST improved upon the book - since S&S was one of my LEASE favorite Austen books. Anyway, you'll love it. Movie Review: So simple, So fast

This is one of my all time favorite movies. I do not belive a better version of Sense and Sensability could be made. Everything is beautiful, the actors the landscapes the home decor the clothing the music. The acting is amazing (but not suprising from a cast that leads off with Emma Thompson). i bought this collection movie for my mother ,that was a graet gift my mother cause when she was a young gil she had books of jane austen's so there you go mother always telling me i'm watching now my pride and prejudice the old version with colin firth mmh so five star from my mom
