Movie Reviews of Send Me No Flowers

Movie Review: Fun with Doris and Rock
Summary: 5 Stars

Oh yes, another great 60s comedy with Doris and Rock. Their chemistry was so amazing that they can make the most ridiculous of scenarios palatable and funny (See Lover Come Back). This one is a real joy to watch as Rock succumbs to every malady known to man - the cartoon medicine scene is hysterical -- and Doris is there to support him. Tony Randall lends his famously funny helping hand and Paul Lynde as a funeral director is a hoot! Why don't they make movies like this anymore?

Movie Review: GReat for collectors of this genre and series
Summary: 5 Stars

Had the privilege of enjoying all three Hudson/Day comedies at Radio City Music Hall. For those of us who lived that epoch, comedy was enjoyable without being offensive, adult without causing embarrassment, with the sweetness of the previous decades and the spark of the 50-60's stage. Too bad that time is gone, and really great that it has been preserved on DVD for us and many others to enjoy!

Movie Review: A good Day film
Summary: 5 Stars

This film can also be found as part of the Doris day collection. Not the best one in the collection but still a great comedy with Doris Day Tony Randall and Rock Hudson. The husband (Rock Hudson) over hears the doctors conversation and knows he is dying. He is a hypochondriac. Little did he know he overheard the wrong conversation. Now he has to find his wife (Doris Day) another husband.

Movie Review: Great 60s movie
Summary: 5 Stars

If you enjoy Rock Hudson/Doris Day movies, you will love this cute movie. While it doesn't contain the violence or foul language that permeates the movies of the past 20 years, it merely entertains, providing a fun escape from life. Tony Randall is great, as usual, and the movie provides the typical Hudson/Day comedy. No special effects, just good, clean humor.

Movie Review: great movie
Summary: 5 Stars

This is one of their best films together. I love it when she slaps him in the face and tells him he must be dreaming. Great fun for the whole family.
