Summary: 3 StarsThere are several books and videos sold here that will enlighten those of us who have been cooking great pizzas at home for many years; those who wish to expand their knowledge and try new things they had not contemplated before.
Unfortunately, this video will not be of any use to people like this. This video is for first-timers, those with no knowledge at all of how to make pizza at home. For that crowd, this is a very good resource, and it is worth the $30 bucks.
For the rest of us, please, don't waste your time or money. The entire video portion will bore you to tears. Bev is the only actress of any interest; Deb looks like she's taken too much Valium. Her plastic smile and childlike mannerisms are annoying. The production would have been much better without her.
One EBook is useful --only that which accompanies the video. The rest are merely a collection of fake, internet recipes that can be dug up on your own. The only style of pizza discussed in the video is New York, nothing else. Download the EBook if you are interested in some pretty decent discussion of other styles. If you can do that for free (and I believe you can), more power to you.
And when you're done watching and you agree with me, you can simply list the DVD here and re-sell it to someone who may benefit more than you. I honestly didn't glean anything useful at all from this work. I was disappointed with the lack of information presented, and specifically, the fact that no actual "secrets" were revealed. Beginners would have never noticed.
