Movie Review: A Masterpiece

Scent of a Woman is perhaps one of the greatest achievements in film history. Al Pacino is beyond excellence. His acting is impecable, forget about Paul Newman, Anthony Hopkins, Robert De Niro, and even the legendary Charlton Heston. This is the best performance I have ever visialized on a movie screen. A powerhouse movie that is brilliantly sculptured into perhaps one of the greatest films ever produced. I am NOT a fan of Hallmark or Lifetimes movies, romance novels or "bodice-rippers". This movie, however, knocks my socks off! Yes it's cliche to mention by now, but the tango scene has got to be one of the BEST dance scenes ever filmed. Lovely...absolutely lovely. Oh to be young, willowy, smartly dressed and able to tango with an elegant man like Mr Pacino! And then to watch Charlie stand up to the old boy's club with the stirring defence of Lt Col Slade...LOVE IT!Movie Review: Pacino is absolutely at his best......

An academy award was the least Pacino could have picked up for his role as a blind, blunt ex liutenant-colonel is this well directed movie. This movie brings a boquet of emotions as well as bringing out the inner child in anyone. This movie makes you wanna cry, laugh, and even learn to tango. I loved it and i gave it an excellent rating. My recommendation is if you are in the mood for a great movie...grab a bucket of popcorn and make this your movie for the night.Movie Review: The Best Movie Ever Made

This is one of those movies that leaves you breathless. Al Pacino is amazing, from the comedy, to the romance, to the exhilaration..where do I begin? Al Pacino asking a beautiful woman to tango, he is blind, she doesnt notice....and the tango, the most amazing peice of music ever made. This movie is amazing. It makes you laugh, makes you cry, and it makes you want to stand up and cheer. Al Pacino plays one of his best roles ever in playing the Colonel. The message of acceptance and belonging are shouted from the rooftops in this film. It shows you how people in different places in their life are still essentially making the same choices. If you liked Dead Poets Society or Finding Forrester you will love this film.
