Movie Review: So gripping, I could not turn away!
Summary: 5 Stars
I finally saw what all the "hoo-hah!" has been about when I stumbled into this Pacino tour de force yesterday on HBO. Changing channels, I caught this about five minutes into the start, and Al Pacino would not let me go for the next two-and-a-half hours! He won a Best Actor Oscar for this with good reason as the "Colonel" who uses his bluster to hide a deep depression. Forget about the career Chris O'Donnell has had since then, for Pacino could not be as good or believable, especially in the climactic scene, without O'Donnell to play against.
Brace yourself for a scene on location in Brooklyn that's a little undercut today due to a shot of the lower Manhattan skyline with the Twin Towers visible, but the movie and Pacino are so powerful, it is not really distracting.
Movie Review: Whoa!!!

I love movies. But it's mostly action or a sci-fi thriller that I would go see playing on a big screen. But my girlfriend and I were bored, so we decided to hop into the car and see what's playing in the next door movie theater. This was the only movie that was starting in about 10 minutes after our arrival, so we decided to give it a shot. It was already playing for about 3 weeks, but the theater was packed. I, myself, didn't hear anything about the movie, but I thought that it was a good sign that so many people showed up to see it. And it was! The movie actually took me a bit by surprise. I always respected Al Pacino, but was never a true fan. This movie has opened my eyes on how truly great of an actor he really is. Well deserved Oscar!Movie Review: On the mystery of bonding

I had seen this movie on screen when it came out and was thrilled by then by the quality of it, and the intensity of emotions. It is interesting to watch it now and see the evolution of the movie indutry through it.
It is still a powerful and emotional story about the bonding between a man tired of his own life, and a young fatherless man, so different and still so much thrilled by each other. Their only similarity is in their sense of integrity, and that is the common point that gets them intrigued by each other. The language is quite strong as are the emotions expressed. The Tango scene is still unbelievable. Gabrielle Anwar gives such a sensitive performance in only one scene. This is a collection movie to watch over and over and enjoy!

This movie is not that great but someone starring in it is unbelievable. Al Pacino brings acting to a new height and I don't think anyone can beat him in acting ever. If you haven't seen the movie you are missing an opportunity of a lifetime to see one of the greatest artists of our time at his best. Watch it and judge for yourself. The story is alright and depicts this Colonel (Pacino) who is blind and a kid who has issues however the intenese emotional drama is mind boggling. I always believe that great movies are those which evoke emotion in it's audience and this movie made me nostalgic. You must see this movie to understand how fortunate most of us are as we are still able to see.Movie Review: Hoo- Ahh! Sweet Scent

this movie has it all.the acting from al pacino and chris o'donnel was amazing. the plot is very much of a wild adventure. i saw this movie not too long ago and will definately watch it again.I would give it ten stars if I could. I like the fact it didn't have alot of cameos, special effects, and other crap. this movie was good on it's own. I reccomend you to see it. It's funny , oh yeah it's really funny.I hope that in the world of scent of a woman, charlie(chris o'donnel)and frank ( al pacino) are still friends.It has such a great impact on my life, as usual, I plan on seeing all of al pacino's movies and chris o'donnel.Oh how I love the sweet scent of Scent of a woman!!!!!!!
