Movie Review: Not the best, but the most horiffic of the entire series!
Summary: 4 Stars
Great movie although I still say "Horror Of Dracula" was the best of them all. This film is the best of the sequels. Only one confusing part of it though. In "Taste The Blood Of Dracula", he is destroyed and rots away into dust at that ruined church. "Scars" begins, presumably, right after that film, yet we see Dracula's remains lying on a stone slab at a castle. How did this happen? Did someone pick up his dust at the church and then sprinkle it in the castle? Maybe it was the bat who comes in to drip blood on the remains? Who knows?In any case, this was a rather good film. Unlike the previous one, Dracula is present for nearly the entire film this time. And, a great demise at the end this time.
If you buy any of the Hammer "Dracula" films, stick with this and the previous ones. Stay away from the ones that take place in the 20th century. Not the same.
Movie Review: Great Hammer Dracula Film with some Flaws

First the Good
1. Dracula Has Never Been played any Better than Christopher Lee
2. The Castle in this one is The Best Looking One Out of the Whole Series
3. The Coolest Scene in the Movie is where Dracula climbs up the Wall to the upper window
Now the Bad
1. In "Taste the Blood of Dracula" Dracula is Destroyed in London
Here we Begin in Transylvania and yet were supossed to believe this is where He was Last Destroyed
2. The Bat looks too Fake and in some Scenes you Can see a String Hanging in off the Wings
3. Is the Klove in this movie supossed to be the Klove who Appeared in "Dracula: Prince of Darkness" Because the one in "Prince" was an old butler here he is a thuggish looking Manservant
Movie Review: SCARS OF DRACULA IS A GOOD FILM!!!

After reading most of the reviews I thought that I was just going to recieve an awful movie, but I'm surprised that yet . . . IT ACTAULLY TURNED OUT TO BE GOOD! So what if it had flaws, Hammer films were made on tight budgets and were all made in lightning speeds, so they didnt have time to fix everything. Anyway, I like this movie for five reasons.
1. The widescreen print is beautiful
2. Very good acting, yet Dracula talked a bit much
3. The actresses are pretty hot.
4. Cheap, but decent sets
5. Funny, Memorable Charachters.
Really, I dont know about you people that said it's a bad movie; if you don't like it, then don't go around commenting negative things about it so the people that actually want to buy this flick won't chnage their minds.
Movie Review: A Dracula Delight
Summary: 4 Stars
This film comes from the period when Hammer was getting "spicy," tossing a little nudity into their films to increase the sensation. I remembered the film as being much racier than it turns out to be. All-in-all, it's an entertaining Hammer Dracula entry with Christopher Lee in top form, more savage and sadistic than we've ever seen Dracula before. This is another film in which Hammer tried to inject a touch of Bram Stoker into the tale by having a hero held captive in Dracula's castle watch as the vampire scales the walls similar to the scene described in Stoker's book. The only real drawback here is that Dracula is pretty much castle-bound throughout the picture so all of the action comes to him. Not the best of the Hammer Dracula films, but still a delightful envenings viewing for the horror fan.Movie Review: So-so Movie; GREAT DVD!!!

I don't have much to say about this film that hasn't been said before. It's not Hammer's best ("HORROR OF DRACULA", "BRIDES OF DRACULA", "KISS OF THE VAMPIRE"), nor is it their worst. Christopher Lee has a little more screen time and actually has a few lines, too; but the story (a re-tread of "HORROR OF DRACULA") is tired and dull. The picture and sound are quite nice; too bad the film isn't better. What is GREAT about this DVD is the bonus disc with a hour-long talk by the Master about his films and career and two MUSIC VIDEOS that showcase Lee's fine singing voice. This bonus disc is the ONLY reason to buy the DVD. So it's a 1 star movie, and 5 star bonus disc.
