Movie Review: Saw III
Summary: 4 Stars

Jigsaw (Bell) is back, although still dying from cancer. With the help of his assistant Amanda (Smith), they enlist the "help" of Dr. Lynn Benton (Soomekh). They connect her to a devise around her neck that will blow her head off if Jigsaw's heart stops. Properly motivated, she begins to try to help him. Meanwhile, Jeff (Macfayden) is going through a series of tests in which he faces the people responsible for his son's death and must forgive them. After all, Jigsaw just wants people to appreciate life.

It's Halloween, so there must be a new "Saw" movie out, right? In fact, "Saw IV" is already scheduled for 2007. "Saw III" lives up to its predecessors, and even manages to tie up some loose ends. Flashing back to points in the first two films, the makers of this movie are able to make things fit a little more tightly. Tobin Bell is good as the mastermind Jigsaw, and the rest of the cast is good enough as his pawns. The death devices are still fairly clever this third time out, and there are enough twists to keep the viewer on the edge of their seat. If you enjoyed the first two "Saw" films, there is no reason not to check this one out.

Movie Review: Delivers on exactly what it is
Summary: 4 Stars

As suggested by a previous reviewer I read all the reviews that I could find and I dug and investigated the reviewers as to have a better understanding of how they saw what they wrote about and all I have to say to that one person is.....U have got to lighten up! Some movies are made to be savored, to be chewed and their many layers digested over a long thought process...this is a horror movie, be it a smart one, but a horror flick non the less. It delivers on the Saw franchise with plenty of blood and guts and icky things, it wraps up the story line (all 3 movies make one nice story), fills in the holes and does what horror movies are meant to do, entertains while not making our brains work. I hope (be it in vein) that Hollywood will lay Jigsaw to rest now, he has come full circle without becoming a running joke as his predecessors Jason, Freddy, and Mike did and we are satisfied. If left alone the Saws will stand on the higher end of their perspective genre for people who want a little more than slash and flash but not quiet the intensity of the Thing.

Movie Review: As good as the first and better than the second
Summary: 4 Stars

I was really suprised to walk out of the theatre and be as impressed as I was. I mean this is the third installment. But this is really nothing I can complain about. I can only shake my head and say, yes, they have done it again. This time around though I would have to say that the traps and deaths are the best. And this movie really does tie up all the loose ends. Even the ones you did not know existed. I hear tale that there is a four one in the makes but I hope this is not true. They really ended the series well with this one. I just do not feel another one would fit.

If you have seen and or like the other two go out and see this movie. It is well worth the money.

Movie Review: Seeing Saw
Summary: 4 Stars

Saw 3, was by far the best out of the other saws, this one played with your mind as did all the others. This one was not really as jumpy or scary as the other two but by far was the bloodiest and graphic. There were many parts where it was almost nauseating to watch what was happening to the people. The "games" or "test" that jigsaw gave the people in the movie were a lot more intense and mind boggling than Saw 1 or Saw 2. Many times during the movie you have your hands over your face just peeking through your fingers not wanting to watch all the blood everywhere. I highly recommend seeing this movie if you like scary, or movies that play with your mind.

Movie Review: Thrilling and also Touching
Summary: 4 Stars

This movie is very good but not great.I am happy I saw it. There are some very nasty scenes including the pig guts and when they see how far your body will twist. At the end it is kind of touching because Amanda goes through some emotional scenes. She has to chose. It is weird to see her cry after how crazy she can be.But thats what makes the Saw series great. Go and see this movie before it is to late because if you don't you will be missing out on a lot. Trust me if you don't see it you will not be able to wait for the DVD.
