Movie Review: Sad, emotional, thought provoking

I have watched a lot of movies and this was one of the few that touched me. I cried for a while afterward. It was one of the only war movies that I have seen that didn't try to make perfect people and have it be totally good versus evil. There were no good people in this movie. Some of the characters became good or better as the movie progressed, but nobody was a hero. I have always known people do horrible things to each other, but this is one of the closest ways that I have seen that shows some of the true horrors of people.Movie Review: SAVIOR: masterpiece of realism. scandalous theaters distribution !

Just rewatched it tonight. what a movie, what a realism. what a disgusting war.
and seeing the catastrophic box office and distribution this movie had, it's a scandal !!! typical of the 12-24 idiots public targeted by Hollywood with dummier and dummier movies while jewels like this one don't get at least a decent distribution !!!
i hope it did better on dvd. and the blu ray one day.
excellent video and audio transfer/encoding/filming-mastering for the techies. among the best dvds existing.
BUY IT !

I'VE SEEN THREE GREAT MOVIES THIS WEEKEND. LIVING OUT LOUD, AMERICAN HISTORY X, AND OF COURSE THIS MOVIE, SAVIOR. QUAID HAS ALWAYS BEEN A SUPERB ACTOR. HIS TASTE IN SCRIPTS IS IMPECCABLE; THIS ONE WAS PROBABLY HIS BEST YET. HE'S MATURED SO MUCH OVER THE YEARS AND IT REALLY SHOWS IN THIS WAR INSPIRED TRAGEDY. IT IS ULTIMATELY ABOUT A MAN WHO HAS LOST HIMSELF, AND THROUGH HELPING ANOTHER, FINDS HIMSELF AGAIN. THERE ARE ENOUGH SCENES OF VIOLENCE WHICH REALLY SEND HOME THE TRUE HORROR AND CRUELTY OF WAR.Movie Review: Jeramy

One of the most amazing films I have ever seen on the Bosnian Conflict. People have been complaining of it being Pro Serb, and making them look like the good guys. I assure you they are not portraid as your hollywood Hero Stars. (I'm really not sure HOW people can think this is COMPLETELY one sided) This is a very sureal movie, depicting what it is like in war. Great movie, but that's not the point. I had to post this reply to make sure one thing is clear: Middle East is not Eastern Europe.And another thing: Bosnian Muslim fighters and Muhajadeenfighters are the same thing. Actually, if you look really close in the scene by the river you will see those are croatian soldiers(most likely members of the Ustash militia). All the muslim fighters are calling themselves Muhajadeen, and that means(if I remember well) warrior in the name of Allah.
