Movie Review: One of the best film from actor Dennis Quaid.
Summary: 5 Stars
This was a little seen by critics and audiences, who`s have miss this strong and powerful film about Redemption. After his wife and son died in a bombing in paris from a terrorist act. Six years later, Johusa Rose(Quaid in breakthought performance) has join in the foreign legion... Joshua has a hard time letting go about his tragic pass and still has his possessed vengeance in him until he meets a young pregnant woman named Vera(Natasa Nickovic)... Together Johusa and Vera embark on unforgettable journey in a survival through a war-shredded world. There are helping each-other to survive their needs for thier solution to finding hope and redemption. Great writing by Robert Orr and Directing by Peter Antonijevic. Co-Produced by Oliver Stone. 4½ Stars/5 Stars.DVD included a director running commentary track, a great picture quality and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround is excellent in this superb drama. Grade:A. Movie Review: I came from a war

Ok, first all these people that are writing comments probably are from Bosnia but lived throughout the war in another country. I am from Prijedor,Bosnia and i know exactly how a war is like because i've seen it and i know how it is. This movie cannot be better it is 110% reality and cannot be better. Maybe there are a few clips they added in but that probably was true also. I do not understand why the creater of the Movie didnt get an Oscar. If you watch this movie and you are from BOSNIA, you will cry and know exactly how it was. The way they killed Muslims was true (hammer on the head...., cut ear out...rape....etc) I just have to say that this movie is the best and cannot be any more better. By this messege i do not attend to hurt anybodys feelings...I am just sharing my opinion to this movie that its very real and no other Bosnian War movie or how you want to call it is better.Movie Review: Addictive

Saviour was fantastic. The input from the Yugoslav co-director contributed to its authenticity and appeal. I thought Goran's character was intriguing. The bad guys are usually portrayed as loud, foul-mouthed and rugged. Goran was articulate, educated, well-groomed and violently unpredictable. Before the war, Goran had been a student into western pop-culture but after the onset of war, joined the Serbian army and turned on his Muslim neighbours. I especially liked the dialog written for his character; I was fasinated by it. I thought the massacre scene was symbolic - that the Serbian woman is murdered along side Muslims by Croats (I think that's what happened - it was hard to keep up with who was killing who and why - but I guess that is war for you.) The soundtrack is unbelievable.Movie Review: One of the most powerful war films I've ever seen

Arguably flawed, but boy did this knock me on my butt. A film about the horror and brutality of war, but this
one got to me in a way very few have.
Dennis Quaid is simply great, and while there are a few cliches, and a little forced symbolism, the tension
and emotion run very high throughout, and there are a large number of scenes I will simply never forget.
An American whose wife and child are killed by terrorists joins the foreign legion after going on his own killing
spree in revenge, only to re-find his humanity in the midst of the Serb-Croat war, rescuing a woman and her child.
Not an easy or pleasant film to sit through, but an important and devastating one. The first and last thirds are flat out brilliant.
Movie Review: Very Human, emotional, excellent...

This is an excellent movie. It is very hard to watch at some times, I even covered my eyes at some parts. The whole of the movie is so real and emotional. The acting is perfect and it will stay with you always. The 'Song' that is sung by the Mother will touch you deep and bring you deeper into the characters. I almost turned it off because the actions taking place were so hard to watch. But, if you continue through to the end, you will find a new understanding of another culture and time. One so unlike ours that it is an eye opener to what has really gone on in this world. Dennis Quaid played this character so well that I forgot anything else he had acted in. Please see this movie, just be prepared for where it takes you.
