Movie Review: Great for families!

This is a movie that is quality in its moral and values. Quality in the recording is not there, but it was an 80's movie. Definately worth showing your family. Funny and adventurous.
Summary of Savannah Smiles
Savannah is an imaginative six-year-old whose wealthy politician parents have little time for her. When Savannah runs away from home and hides in the broken-down getaway car of two bumbling felons the small-time crooks are suddenly mistaken for big-time kidnappers. They try to give her back, but instead of the parents being grateful, they accuse the two of kidnapping. Boots and Alvie have no choice but to go underground with Savannah, and the three soon become a family whose days are filled with kite flying, home-cooked meals, bedtime stories, and a puppy. But Boots and Alvie know in their hearts they must do the right thing and return Savannah to her parents. For its time, this is a sweet movie filled with innocence and fun. However, in a time when children are told never to go off with strangers, it is hard to justify a movie that glorifies that very thing, no matter how goodhearted the two felons are.
