Movie Review: Close to my heart

This movie never gets old. Each and everytime I watch it, my heart is filled with so much joy, yet so much pain as well. This movie is so close to my heart, I can relate to the main characters. You never know who you fall in love with or when you fall in love, yet you can't have that person. I feel for them both, being in that same situation now in my life. It's funny how life deals you situations....you just never know. I truly believe there is that one "soul" person out there, for me, he's out there, I just can't have him all to myself. But I'm thankful I have him....no matter how small of a piece I have, I have my "soul" mate.Movie Review: GREAT FILM

This film is one for the ages. For two characters to be able to carry a film, along with the story, directing, and music, wow, that takes creativity. There's no explosions, car chases, dramatic love scenes. But what you have, is what Hollywood films are missing these days, A GREAT STORY. You basically have two locations and two main characters. I think that was genius to be able to pull it off the way they did. Of course they had practice since it was initially a play. this was the first time i've ever watched a movie the day i got it in the mail.
it is as it was described. I got it about two weeks ago possibly three and it's a wonderful movie and I always exp[ect great service from [...] as i plan to order from them again in the future.
I ordered this move because my mother recommended it and I agree it;s a wonderful movie and anyone who loves ALan Alda's work on ER, MASH and 30 Rock will love this movie because it shows how great an actor Alan Alda is.

I have laughed so much, that each time I see this movie I find something else to laugh about. Alan Alda and Ellen Burystn are so perfect for these roles, I cannot image anyone else in those parts. All the little things that made the movie, his watch that was an hour and 25 minutes ahead and that she was supposed to be at a retreat. When she went into labor and he had labor pains also, it just goes on and on. Just a wonderfully funny movie that I never tire of watching. This is a great story about a couple married to other people who meet by accident, fall in love and continue an affair for almost 25 years by meeting one time each year for a weekend before going back to their families. Nothing sleazy which is why it's so compelling, but fun to watch as they grow and change over the years. Recommended for anyone who ever fell in love and knew it wouldn't work, but carried that feeling in their heart forever - which is basically everybody.
