Movie Review: Sam Cooke - the MAN!!
Summary: 5 Stars
Wow, how nice to watch Sam Cooke's story from beginning to end. Interviews with the family adds a wealth of inside information. I never knew Sam's father was a Chicago minister and of course Sam was the younger one who surprised the family when he first sang! Unfortunate for music that his life was taken so early. I've been a fan of Sam Cooke for over 30 years. I can honestly say I've waited all that time for something, anything that could capture the essence of who he was. I believe his celebrity is far too complex to summarize in less than 3 hours, yet the quality and content of the Legend DVD is befitting a man of his caliber. I sincerely hope there's more to come regarding this remarkable man, talent and humanitarian.Movie Review: Soulful&Moving

My wife and I enjoyed the Sam Cooke - Legend. The tape was entertaining and enjoyable. To learn all the trials and victory he had to overcome as a singer and black male entertainer. His voice was so wonderful and it brought excitment in the room. He was a smart and elegant singer and I was glad to listen and see the history of his life.Movie Review: THIS SHOULD SEND YOU

IF god had a voice this is how he would sound,yes i too would love to see the footage of what i think is the greatest rb song ever written, a change is gonna come, but hey whats here is awesome! Sam died 3 years before i was born and I know how great he was!
