THIS DVD IS AXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY. THE SCRIPT, NARRATION, FOOTAGE, CHOICE OF SAM COOKE'S MUSIC, AND ALL THE TRIBUTES PAID TO MR. COOKE, ARE JUST GREAT. THE DVD IS A MASTERPIECE BEFITTING A LEGENDARY MAN AND ARTIST AS SAM COOKE. I'M ADDICTED TO IT, AND SO ARE MY CHILDREN. THANKS FOR GIVING PEOPLE THE CHANCE TO ORDER THE DVD, AS SAM COOKE FANS WORLDWIDE HAVE LONG DREAMED/DREAMT OF WATCHING FOOTAGE OF THEIR HERO. THE DVD WILL HELP THE WORLD KNOW MORE ABOUT AND APPRECIATE, THE MAN AND HIS MUSIC. I'M SURE IT WOULD BE A BIG HIT, AND MANY MANY PEOPLE WORLDWIDE WOULD ORDER IT. WHEN I VIEWED THIS ITEM FOR SALE ON AMAZON I WAS SPEECHLESS. I DIDN'T WASTE A SECOND PLACING MY ORDER...I SIMPLY COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT THE VIDEO EXISTED. WHEN I RECIEVED THE PACKAGE I RAN DOWNSTAIRS IN MY STUDIO AND MAN-O-MAN! THE CLARITY WAS REMARKABLE,THE VINTAGE FOOTAGE WAS SIMPLY AMAZING AND THE ALL-STAR COMMENTARY WAS SECOND TO NONE. I'VE READ ALL OF THE BOOKS HEARD ALL OF THE BOX SETS, CASSETTES,8 TRAX,45'S AND CD'S BUT NOW IT'S TIME TO SEE THE MOTION PICTURE,WITH "USHER" PLAYING SAM AND THE TITLE..."A CHANGE GONNA COME". I am a youngster, but I am grateful to have grown up on good music. Sam Cooke
was one of those singers whose songs sent you anywhere he wanted you to go
with his awesome , soulful voice, and heartfelt lyrics. This DVD is a must have if you are into real music. Sam Cooke sang from the very depth of his soul and will always be remembered for that very fact. I was highly impressed with how well this DVD was put together and how informative it was especially for those who may not be too familiar with this late legend. Five stars!!

This biography gave me a very good insight into the true inventor of soul, Sam Cooke. He is my favorite performer of all time, and this DVD helped me take a true look into the person who has helped shape and mold the lives of so many with his timeless style and voice. It has cleared up many rumors and stirred up some suprises about him and also shares many thoughts and annecdotes about him (the ones with Aretha Franklin are the most humorous.) I very much enjoyed Sam Cooke Legend. The important part was to see his moves while he performed. I enjoyed the testimonies of other artist/singers like The "Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin, Lou Rawls, Bobby Womack and Sam Cooke's family and all those who worked with him while he lived.
Many tell me I sing like Sam Cooke,but I believe there was only one Sam Cooke and unreplaceable!
