Movie Review: An Awesome Experience

I had the extreme pleasure of seeing Sade live for the first time this past summer. As an avid concert goer, I found her show to be romantic, sexy and sensual. Sade capitvates the audience with her smokey voice and amazing stage presence. She sings and moves effortlessly (in her bare feet) across the stage with the grace and beauty of a peacock. The world is blessed to have this voice known as Sade. This DVD is not only for the hardcore fans but for those who would like to ease the stress of a busy day. Pop this into the player and you too will experience what I did this past summer, beauty, elegance and a truly magnificent voice!Movie Review: The CD is what got me

Just like another poster after listening to the cd audience I wanted to see what they were so excited about. Again Sade shows and proves. I saw her live years ago and it was a terrific experience. I like this DVD better than the first one. Perhaps with age, birth of a child and wisdom, Sade is just mesmerizing. I wish I could be so smooth and move as gracefully as she does in daily life. Her dance movements are just so classy and elegant yet sexy as they come. Of course, Sweetback is outstanding as expected.This one should be in your collection. I am either watching it once a month and defintely keep the CD close by at all times.
Movie Review: What a Bargain!

What more could you ask for? Nearly two hours of Sade for less than twenty dollars. This DVD is captivating to say the least. I cannot get enough of it. The arrangement of Somebody Already Broke My Heart with a taste of Never As Good As The First Time is almost worth the price alone. I own the "Sade Live" DVD and I thought that was amazing but this is right up there with the previous offering. The DVD does stall in the middle but it is not enough to keep you from enjoying the band performing at their peak with Sade out front giving it her all. The Lovers Live DVD captures the moment and makes a superior souvenir of the concert tour which I was fortunate enough to attend during the summer of 2001 in Virginia. During the bands musical solo they created a musical atmosphere of an exceptional romantic summers evening. Hoping to see her again in concert and again in DVD. Buy it!!! I saw this concert live last year in 2001 and it was amazing! So after getting the DVD I could not wait to play it an relive that evening. The concert was filmed great, without the kind of panning that makes you dizzy. The sound and quality were top notch. Sade's band is amazing. They are so tight. When you get this DVD you will be mesmerized like I was at the concert. Also if your a fan, get the Sade Live concert DVD which was, I believe the first one she put out. You will not be disappointed.
