Movie Review: WHY I AM FASCINATED B Y STEPHEN KING'S "ROSE RED"

WHILE IT IS TRUE I THOUGHT STEPHEN KING STILL HAD A FIRESTARTER FIXATION IN THIS DVD AND THE VIDEO. I WAS FASCINATED BY ELLEN RIMBAUER'S DIARY AND THOUGHT STEPHEN KING DID AN EXCELLENT JOB GIVING LIFE TO THE GREAT HOUSE-ROSE RED. I DO NOT KNOW IF HE ACTUALLY SET FOOT IN ROSE RED BECAUSE IF THE HOUSE'S REPUTATION IS TRUE HE WOULD HAVE DIED. UNLIKE THE PROFESSOR IN THE DVD AND VIDEO I DO NOT BELIEVE HOUSES ARE BORN BAD IT WAS THE LAND THAT ROSE RED SITS ON THAT MADE IT SO. SO, BEFORE ANYONE ELSE PUTS THIS VIDEO OR DVD DOWN THEY SHOULD STUDY THE DIARY OF ELLEN RIMBAUER VERY CLOSELY AND TO STEPHEN KING I GIVE A BIG PLUS 5 ON THE SCALE OF ONE TO FIVE!Movie Review: AWESOME

There is no other way to describe this movie. If you did not get to see it when it was on TV then you need to get it here. Steven King is just like he has always been described, the master story teller. He has truly worked his magic on this one. This story, like so many of the others, starts out kind of slow but really peaks toward the end. I have never had a made for TV mini series run chills up and down my spine like this one did. The casting was just perfect and the acting was very well done. It is almost kind of like watching a scary documentary. Like I said before, if you did not see this on TV you need to buy it.Movie Review: BEST MOVIE EVER!

I love Rose Red! I saw the miniseries and I absolutely loved it! I couldn't stop talking about it for the next two or so weeks. One character I love is Emery Waterman. I'm sure anyone with a sense of humor will love him. I do! (but then again, I'm not with the "in crowd" as far as movies or movie characters go) I highly recommend it to anyone over the age of...thirteen. It was scary and haunting, but the fear wears off the day after you see it. While the miniseries was on T.V, I couldn't wait to watch it. Watching Rose Red was the highlight of my day. GET ROSE RED, IT'S THE BEST MODERN HORROR MOVE YOU'LL EVER SEE!Movie Review: BEST Stephen King movie EVER!!!

I am not a Stephen King fan. I don't read his books and I don't like his movies. Rose Red however was the exception! This movie will become a horror classic!! It's scary, thrilling and never fails to enthrall and consume the viewer. There was hardly a minute that I wasn't on the edge of my seat and holding my breath to see what happens next! I'm still not a Stephen King fan, but this movie is definitely on my short favorites list!! This movie is a must see for Horror fans! DVD extras (behind the scenes documentary in particular) make this dvd worth every penny. Stop reading the reviews and BUY THIS DVD!!!Movie Review: Rose Red is to die for.

I really forgot how creepy this film was until i watched it again . You are literally drawn in by Mr. King's screenplay full of little details and interesting characters ,the subtlties keep on building as the story goes along slow at first, like all good stories do. then picks up speed and reaches a fever pitch and keeps on running until the end shot which is just great. this wonderfully creepy crafted film leave you feeling freaked out, you'll probably have to watch something light and funny after watching this. What a Classic!
Highly Recommended.
