Movie Review: We Very Much Prefer the Leap Frog's "Letter Factory" INSTEAD
Summary: 3 Stars
I have purchased both the "Alphabet" DVD and the Leap Frog's "Letter Factory" DVD. After viewing both, I wish I never bought the Rock N' Learn's "Alphabet". The "Althabet" DVD is merely okay, since it makes the association between the upper and lower case letters and teaches the alphabet song. It tries to build vocabulary by introducing few words for each letter, however the pictures of the items are too small to be memorable. The DVD feels rather dry and feels like it is one of those required classes you have to sit through. I would recommend rather buying the "Letter Factory", which is a great fluid and memorable story that teaches both the alphabet letter names, its sequence and the sounds each letter makes. The story line makes the transition from letter to letter very natural and memorable. My 18 mos son wants to watch the "Letter Factory" DVD over and over again.
