Movie Reviews of Road Trip (Unrated Edition)

Summary: 5 Stars

This movie rocks!!! I enjot this movie. Amy Smart is so hot. A must watch movie

Movie Review: Where did they find that guy, Kyle?
Summary: 5 Stars

The movie started out pretty good, but my wife and I just burst out laughing when we saw Kyle (DJ Qualls) for the first time. From that moment on the movie actually got 10 times funnier (if it's even possible). I don't think I've stopped laughing even for a second during this movie. And no, I wasn't "high" (maybe just a little drunk). It's one of those movies you can watch several times and it seems like it gets even better with each time. I don't think I laughed more and harder at any other movie. Great comedy!

Movie Review: Overrated, Overhyped and Not Funny At All!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie is a one note song played for 1 1/2 hours . It is about a College Student who accidentally mails a videotape of him having sex to his girlfriend in Texas. Anxious to retrieve the tape him and three of his buddies go on a read trip to Texas. And where did they get the car? Why they conned College Geek (played by D.J. Qualls) into loaning it to them although they have such low opinion of him that when they knock on his door they assume he is inside masturbating!!!With so called "friends" likes these who needs enemies? Then they total his car because they are too lazy to turn around and go the proper road to reach their destination. This is a very unfunny movie with one dimensional characters and the gags fall flat in every instance. All I learned from this movie is that I ain't gonna lend my Porsche 930 Turbo to anybody to drive!!!I give this movie 5 stars because for once a Geek FINALLY gets a girlfriend in a Hollywood movie.

Movie Review: Unrated Meaning Uncut?
Summary: 3 Stars

I recently purchased this Unrated DVD version. I was dissapointed to see at least one scene cut. Remember when Kyle was hooking up with that big girl (Rhonda?) in the Fraternaty? I remember her taking Kyle's hand. You could see how much bigger her hand was than his. I'm I thinking of another movie? Anyway, it's not in this DVD. I'm not sure what else is cut. I expected the "Unrated" version to have the most in it. As far as I can remember it has less than the one at the theater.

Movie Review: Don't Watch This On A Full Stomach
Summary: 5 Stars

A word of warning before I start my review: the best time to watch "Road Trip" is during your colonoscopy where you can't eat for three days. Otherwise, this film will make you sick with all of its gross out gags. But herein liese the film's charm.

And now on to the review. "Road Trip" tells the story of Josh (Breckin Myer) is a college dude who abandons his studies but has remained faithful to his girlfriend (Rachel Blanchard). That is, until one night, his friend (Sean William Scott, essentially reprising his role as Stifler from "American Pie" as a jerk who makes fun of virgins) invites him to a party. This is where he meets Beth (Amy Smart). That night, they make a sex tape. However, Josh feels bad and tells his friend Barry Manilow (Tom Green) to mail his love message to his real girlfriend to her dorm in Austin. However, he sends the sex tape. Josh and company go on a road trip to retrieve the sex tape and save his relationship. The laughs in this film are fast and furious, though as I said might make you queasy (like when Horatio Sanz shoves french toast in his butt and feeds it to one of Josh's friends).

My advice: buy this hysterical film. You'll laugh and laugh.
