I became a Phillies fan in 1950. Have stuck with them thru thick and thin, mostly thin, since. Richie was one of my first sports heroes. The DVD was excellent. I never knew much about his personal life...Harry Kalas was at his best. Great item for all sports fans. Harry Acker VA Beach.

Richie Ashburn is arguably the most beloved figure in the long and storied history of Philadelphia sports. He thrilled fans for over a decade with his exploits on the baseball diamond then spent the rest of his life entertaining generations of Phillies fans from the broadcast booth.
