Any Larry McMurtry film is great on the screen, but the "Return to Lonesome Dove" doesn't equal it's original. You can't replace Tommy Lee Jones with Jon Voight. I did enjoy the story line and Rick Schroeder and Louis Gossett Jr. were excellent.Movie Review: great western

Even though this was adverised as used, it came in as good as new. This is the second of what I consider the best mini series ever. Just as good as the first, maybe better. Loved it then and love it now!
