Movie Review: Well-acted movie and a good film about Marine
Summary: 5 Stars
I love all the Halloweentown movies, mostly because I think Disney Channel actually spends MONEY on them, unlike the rest of their work. But I love these movies, they're so well-done and the acting is great and the movies really bring the magical and sometimes mysterious world of Halloweentown to life, especially through the eyes of the protagnist Marine Piper. She's usually played by Kimberly J. Brown, but this time around she's played by the beautiful and very talented Sara Paxton. Marine wants to go to college in Halloweentown, and is looking foward to it. Her mother insists no, that she goes to community college for two years and then onto to state. Marine insists that that's what everybody around here does, and she doesn't want to be the same as the other people in her high school. She chooses Witch U, like BU. Boston University alongside the Charleston River, the Charlie. Love that college. I plan on intending there very, very shortly but anyhoo back to the review. Marine goes to Witch U, along with her brother and makes friends with her resident advisor who happens to be a genie but is friendly and sweet and her name is Annesa and she also runs into her old friend and kind of crush, Ethan Delaway played by Lucas Grabeel from "High School Musical." She goes to class, and meets her interesting and sometimes very strange weird college professors. Some seem nice, like Mrs. Merriweather who reminds me of some teacher at my school but also she wonders about some of the other ones, who seem like they want to use her for part of their plan to rule Halloweentown. Marine is a little skeptical, especially when Ethan tells her that he overheard something like that. She thinks he's wrong, even though she likes them(they both take a midnight trip to this cafe on a magical broom ride at night at Halloweetown and enjoy eating ice cream together at this cute little cafe.) Her brother is being used by these losers, these three girls and her mother is at home, wondering if her daughter is all right. Marine assures her mother she's fine, but also says that she's trying to find out something about this secret box she found in a class she's in. The mystery finds itself when she travels back in time and she meets a wise and smart girl who tells her that the queen looks just like her, or that she looks just like the queen. Marine goes into the queen's bedroom, with help from the smart girl who will one day be a teacher and her grandmother's best friend but all that would have to wait. Marine does find the secret emerald to the box, and meets the queen. She lets her have it, but warns her that it's a special gift and must not be taken lightly. Marine agress, and leaves back to her own time and place. She goes back to her dorm, and tries to open the box. She succeeds, but must outbeat these big time losers to do it. She wins, of course, and frees the spell and the losers look the idiots they are by Mrs. Peweather and they're locked in a mirror forever. marine wins, and gives the secret emerald to her brother, and it's locked forever in a book or until somebody finds it. I guess this movie was alright, it wasn't garbage or anything, or crap. It was well acted, espeically Lucas Grabeel he is a great actor. He's so good. And Sara Paxton is marine, she's amazing. The rest of the cast is good too.

Witches, warlocks and haunted hijinks are just routine as Halloweentown nears its 1000th Anniversary. This year Marnie Piper and lil? bro Dylan return as students at the prestigious Witch University. Marnie's cauldron of trouble immediately starts bubbling over.
