Movie Reviews of RenegadeMovie Review: 5 Stars
One of the most amazing movies I've seen.
Period.
Just of a little clarification for other reviewers.
That was no acid, ayahuasca or much less opium. It's called peyote and yes, as close as it is to a real trip as it can be.
Edit:
Upon further research on this movire, it turns out to be that it's a mixture of sacred plants, yet, the trips were inspired on ayahuasca visions. Still as close as you get can get without risking in taking the real thing.
Movie Review: Awesome! Summary: 5 Stars
I have been a student of ethnobotanical studies over the last 25 years. I have been initiated into the mystical rites by shaman guides with various herbal sacraments and I must say the ayahuasca-like imagery and experience which this film portrays is beyond words in its authenticity....I am buying a copy and highly recommend Jan's Other Worlds (d'autres mondes) before viewing Blueberry or Renegade...

Movie Review: One of a kind Summary: 5 Stars
A Shipibo ceremony in the Southwest. A story that morphs, slowly, from a linear narrative into a metaphysical Reality that is more real than real. A spiritual stand-off. A contraction into basic principles. Truth can be cold, love is a force, contracts go way back in time.
This is not simply a film - these guys know what they're doing.
Impressive!
Movie Review: Anyone who gives this movie less than 5 stars doesn't get it Summary: 5 Stars
This is not a Western. It's not about the details of the story either.
It's about the beautiful, mind-blowing experience that the plant spirit
Ayahuasca does to us, helps us deal with our worst demons, fears and anger.
The visuals and effects are impressive, magnificent, and mind-blowing.
A spectacular movie if it's that what you're curious about...
Movie Review: Underlying teachings Summary: 5 Stars
This movie was defiantly created to show the teacher plant. The animator must have had an ayahausca experience!!! It is hard to past along teaching, but this is the best attempt at it that I have seen. This is a reminder that there are other realms to be touch, to let go of our fears and that there is another power at work.
