Movie Reviews of Reign of Fire

Movie Review: Enjoyable movie
Summary: 5 Stars

Some movies cause you to question their logic, others you just accept it. I just accepted it for Reign of Fire, and it caused me to really enjoy the movie. The computer graphics were better than expected, and if you have a Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound system, crank it up...it's awesome. Great performances by the leads, especially Christian Bale, mixed with good special effects makes this a worthwhile film. The DVD has some nice extras, too, making it worth the purchase.

Summary: 5 Stars

Matthew McConaughey lights up 'Reign of Fire' in his best performance since 'U-571'! Which if you've seen 'U-571' you would find unbelieveable, inless of course you saw 'Reign of Fire' in theatres as I did. But besides Mr. McConaughey the dragons look as terrifing as ever but at the same time dazzling. So from the extordinary acting (Christian Bale,Matthew McConaughey) to the spectacular special effects and graphics (dragons, sky divers, castles etc.) 'Reign of Fire' is HOTT!!!

Movie Review: Eragon gone rogue!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

Saphira has turned evil in this movie. Not a sequel to Eragon, It is dragon riders vs. dragons. Sort of a Terminator theme movie as well. Humanity hiding from monsters, this time it is dragons. I called this eragon gone rogue or Saphira has rabies, her kind is eveil in this fire storm. Christian Bale, not doing John Connor, stars as Quinn, a surivior of a deadly mine attack from dragons. It is Terminator meets Eragon

Movie Review: DRAGONS PEOPLE
Summary: 5 Stars

Reign of fire has gotten much criticism for its lack of storyline and so on. But when you think about it... what is a movie made for. Does it have to have a story? Does it have to have good acting? If your a dumba** and you don't know the answer, it's NO. A movie is supposed to be entertaining. And if you don't think massive fire breathing dragons are entertaining, then you must be stupid... cuz it is.

Movie Review: Not your typical fantasy flick
Summary: 5 Stars

I watched this movie on an airplane flight. It was so good I forgot that I was cramped in a seat that would make Tiny Tim uncomfortable. The guy next to me was riveted. I told him it was part of the Left Behind series. What fun! Dragons that destroy much of the world, stodgy Brits, medieval living conditions, lethal food harvesting, triangulating dragons... this stuff makes $5 Jack Daniels go down easy.
