Movie Review: Better than most
Summary: 5 Stars
Gerard Butler brings a sensitivity to the movie, as well as the courage and bravory of a "Knight". The movie is for the "thinking man", the bad reviews are not to be considered. This film seems true to life in believe-ability; the dragons could not have been more "real" in looks movements and fire breathing action; in flight they are magnificent!
The men are wonderful with the children, in keeping them strong and unafraid in there horrowing situation. They are as men Should be these days, protective of their women and children.
The costumes are rustic and real.
The movie can be compared to "King Author" in style. A Great action movie, mystical, gritty and Wonder-full.

Reign of Fire is all Action from the word Go! A Great Cast and a Great Story. The film begins with the accidental release of Fire Breathing Dragon by a British underground subway crew working in London that leads to the creatures quickly breeding and the near destruction of the human race. Matthew McConaughey who plays Van Zan and Christian Bale who plays Quinn a pair Leaders who join forces to destroy the menace that threatens to finish off the few human survivors that still fight on. The action scenes and special effects are first rate, the DVD has very good extras that are a great addition too. If you looking for a great action movie with great special effects, Reign of Fire is a film You'll enjoy.Movie Review: A dark and riveting sci-fi thriller.

Reign of fire was an excellent film. The cinematography was near perfect, and the special effects were breath-taking. Its not a movie that everyone is going to like because it isn't very uplifting to see the human race stomped out to near extinction. However, it is suspenseful and has a few suprises along the way. The method in which the dragonhunters go about killing a dragon with all the high-tech computer equipment was fascinating. The plot is somewhat thin, but it shows how boring the lives of humans became when they were forced to live in refuge and fear. It needs to be in every sci-fi fan's DVD library!Movie Review: Matt/Christian and one BADDDD DRAGON!!!

Matt and Christian sharing a screen with one really bad azz male dragon, could a movie have anymore testosterone than that. The story was nicely done, FX nicely executed and the acting no less than great, I was completely satisfied with my decision to give this movie it's "day in court". I am purchasing a second copy of this dvd this week because cable chooses to exhaust me with next to impossible to enjoy movies repeating them over and over again and letting great movies like this sit on some shelf collecting dust. How can you creeps not like this movie?!?!?!? With dragons being my favorite mythological creatures, this movie rocked. It was exciting, and the special effects were really good. The dragons looked real. Yes, the acting could've been a lot better...but still, who needs acting in an action movie? I heard one of you creeps say that the special effects were awful...and one of you said that this was the worst movie of 2002! Jeez haven't you ever heard of Kung Pow??? Now THAT movie [was not good].
