Movie Review: Very good tense race/chase scenes
Summary: 3 Stars
The whole story is about fancy fast cars and guys betting money on the winner. True, the acting is forgetable and the script is not even up to high-school standards, ... in a sense it's a throwback to the early 70s in this regard.
The flair comes with Las Vegas as a backdrop for the most part, exotic cars and excellent race/chase scenes - these are some of the best ever made.
The music is hip-hop and only so-so except for one song here and there. The director and cameraman seem to have been overly enthusiastic about showing booty as there's plenty of that in this flick from every angle imaginable - it's supposed to add a sexy touch I guess.
This movie is so obvious about the producer, Sadek, having a passion about fast exotic cars and incorporating his interest into a film, ... and as it wasn't a low budget movie, I just wish they had consulted some top Hollywood pros to flesh out the storyline and to give it some depth and then it may have reached at least the Fast&Furious level, ... but maybe that wasn't the intention for this flick. With some clever scripting, etc. this film would have had so much potential especially with the budget at hand and the availability of so many great cars.
The 3 stars are for the excellent photography of the breathtaking race/chase scenes and stunts as well as to some aspects of stylish ambience in some scenes.
Movie Review: Not anywhere near as bad as Fastlane (2009)

This is not anywhere near as bad as Fastlane Fast Lane but then it's not anywhere near as good as the first The Fast & the Furious either. The acting is wooden but watchable again not as bad as Fastlane. The cars are good and it's nice to see proper muscle car classics and super cars getting properley raced and crashed. View it as a good DTV movie and you'll be OK with it.
The filming is not bad and the sound is quite good.
Worth a watch if you know your super cars & muscle cars but don't pay much or rent it.

A gorgeous young automobile fanatic--and front to the hottest unsigned band on the West coast--finds herself caught up in illegal drag-racing competitions organized for the pleasure of a bunch of bored billionaires. A great movie for people are who into Cars and girls. This is captivating for the younger, out going audience so I wouldn't expect any book club members to undersatnd the action.Movie Review: More Fun than Fast and Furious
