Movie Reviews of Red Violin

Movie Review: Should have won "Best Picture" of the year!
Summary: 5 Stars

Frankly, "The Red Violin" is one of the finest films ever made. This is what Hollywood should strive to emulate - it's a masterpiece in storytelling, production, acting ... absolutely incredible! I am shocked that more people don't know of this wonderful movie - everyone that I recommend it to has come back raving about it. This is the "must see" movie of the decade!

Movie Review: The Red Violin
Summary: 5 Stars

This is without any doubt, one of the most outstanding film I've ever seen... The journey of the film takes the viewer through the birth and life of a magnificent instrument, then onto the ultimate destination that's spellbinding and surprising... I highly recommend this film for anyone that appreciates a film that holds your interest from beguinning to end...

Movie Review: Wonderful production values
Summary: 5 Stars

The music is sumptuous, the plot is a little hard to follow at times, but the production values are fabulous. The verilisimitude of the various settings - medieval Italy/Cremona, Germany/Austria, China, wherever - is lovingly detailed. The makers did not spare the production values, praise be, you feel you ARE there in those scenes. A keeper.

Movie Review: One of my twenty best of the Decade.
Summary: 5 Stars

In 1681, the famous "luthier" Nicolo Bussotti has just concluded his most appreciated instrument, a violin varnished with his wife 's blood. Since that moment Anna Bussotti 's soul guides the destiny of the violin in a long journey through the Centuries. From Ssiecle XVIII 's Vienna to Oxford , Shangai and Montreal.
A towering movie.

Movie Review: One of the greatest films of all-time
Summary: 5 Stars

This film is a fantastic story of the journey of a perfect violin. The story is told in stages and told through a prediction of the future (you will understand after you see the film). The unique way the film is told is very original and refreshing. The story mixes many elements into a flawless and highly enjoyable film that everyone can enjoy.
