Movie Review: Red Sonja... of Wizards and Warriors
Summary: 5 Stars
Red Sonja is one of the best barbarian movies from the 1980's, along with "Conan the Barbarian", and "The Beastmaster". Brigitte Nielsen does fantastic in her role portraying a tough barbarian woman that sets out to triumph evil. The movie is well filmed, and holds up well through the years with a fantastic fantasy musical score that sets the mood. Arnold Schwarzenegger makes a brilliant appearance as Kalidor the lone barbarian warrior who sets out to aid Sonja on her mission. The action is well balanced, the characters are great, and the movie contains a cool story that transports you to the ancient medieval times. I recommend this movie wholeheartedly to all fantasy fans, and people that enjoy Dungeons and Dragons type movies.Movie Review: Another Great Adventure Movie!!

This movie stands on its own with Bridget Nielsen as Red Sonja yet Arnnold Schwarzenegger plays the part of Kalidor the protector yet it does keep you on the edge of your seat but you must include a snobby prince along with his guardian per say but this action/adventure movie does have its moments: sword fights, romance and action/adventure in which i highly recommend that you get this movie you will not be disappointed whatsoever!!Movie Review: An Eighties Classic

I was raised on Conan and Red Sonja, so I can't help but highly recommend these movies. No, the acting isn't great, and there are homosexual connotations that I just didn't catch when I was six, but these movies have stood the test of time-- at least in my estimation. Wonderful adventures with unforgetable characters, and the swords are just darn cool.Movie Review: That other Conan film ... what's it called?

This half-forgotten film is in the classic style of Schwarzenegger's Conan films but not titled as such and with a consequent loss of market. That is a pity because it is almost the equal of the others. Also, the heroine is a red-head, which helps spice up the red-ragging rage-queen vs muscle boy image.Movie Review: Total Trash

Let's be real...I won't even pretend that this is a great (heck, or even good) movie. It's not. What "Red Sonja" is, is wonderfully bad...and I love it. "Red Sonja" will return to the newsstands in 2005, and in the meantime freshen up with all that is Red Sonja.
