Movie Review: Great supernatural thriller
Summary: 5 Stars

A refreshingly original horror movie in a genre that is filled with recycled themes. This one is actually based on a legend from the Koran about shape-shifting supernatural creatures, and the movie succeeds in making this into a very creepy story that (for lack of a less cliched description) keeps you on the edge of your seat. The low budget is painfully apparent in the special effects, but the writing, acting, and directing are superior to that in many films with ten times the budget. It's a crime that a movie this good didn't get a theatrical release, and it's definitely worth buying the DVD.
