Movie Reviews of Red Riding HoodMovie Review: The best musical of Red Riding Hood that I have ever seen Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this movie. It told the fairy tale classic in a different and unique way with a spin to it. I really liked how they told the story. I loved the acting. I loved the songs and the dancing. I loved the special effects. They just did a marvelous job with this movie.
I would highly recommend it to those who love fairy tales, musicals, and Little Red Riding Hood.

Movie Review: CANNON MOVIE TALES!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
These films are truly the greatest. I remember this one vividly with the werewolf. Also, the mother is played by Isabella Rosellini. These are captivating tales that should delight the young and the young at heart. I am SO glad that they are returning to DVD. :-)
Movie Review: GREAT Summary: 5 Stars
THIS IS A GREAT MOVIE AND ITS AWSOME THAT IT IS FINALLY ON DVD BUT WHEN ARE THE REST OF THE CANNON MOVIE TALES GONNA BE OUT ON DVD?
Movie Review: Odd...but pretty good Summary: 4 Stars
Looks like this will be the first review of Red Riding Hood on DVD.For those that have already seen this movie...you must get the DVD.It looks terrific. The picture is crisp and clear, the colors are vibrant and even the sound is pretty good, especially when compared to the VHS version. The sound is recorded in Dolby Surround 2.0,but the surround effect seems to be noticeable only during the musical numbers.Unfortunately, there's no special features except for the requisite theatrical trailer. For those that haven't seen this movie,It's a quirky adaption of the classic story of Red Riding Hood,Cannon Movie Tales style. The cast includes a couple of well-known actors...Craig T. Nelson("Coach","Poltergeist"),Isabella Rosselini("Blue Velvet"),and some lesser-known actors like Amelia Shankley('A Little Princess","Dreamchild") and Rocco Sisto("The Sopranos"..Sisto played the younger Uncle Junior in a couple of flashback episodes). The musical numbers are a mixed bag,but they manage to give the film a decent sense of pacing. From what I've gleaned from the internet, this was the last feature film that then-15-year-old Amelia Shankley ever made. She did have a recurring role in the "Lovejoy" television series a few years after Red Riding Hood but apparently hasn't done much since then. That's a shame, because she seemed to display a great deal of talent in this film and all of the others she appeared in.Anyways, this is a good family-type movie but younger children might be frightened by portions of it.
Movie Review: Amelia I love you Summary: 4 Stars
Ok.The film is not the classical adaptation of the german fairytale, but it is really an joy to watch.Amelia Shankley is the best of the film. She is sooo beautiful and sexy in her young age. You can feel her freshness and spirit The innocence of this sweet little girl is totally believeble. There are also exellent performances by Rocco Sisto and Graig T. Nelson, the villains of the film. A nice family picture
