Movie Reviews of Reba - Season 1Movie Review: Hilarious! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a hilarious sitcom. The plot features Reba, a divorced mom with three kids, who has to put up with them, her son-in-law, ex-husband, and his new wife, Barbara-Jean, the big blonde ditz. They get into all sorts of crazy situations, usually involving family fights, but sometimes wandering into the truly bizarre (they even managed a tasteful comedy about Hurricane Katrina). The dialogue is witty, the actors have perfect timing, and the plots are entertaining. Barbara-Jean, steals most of the shows, but all of the characters have their moments. If you want to laugh, I highly recommend renting this.
Movie Review: love it! Summary: 5 Stars
Reba is one of my all time favourites. it has heart, comedy and a lot of drama. all though the situations the characters are faced with are a little far fetched from real-life, they do provide a good laugh. of course the outcome of a divorce is completely different from how its viewed in the show. no person is still friendly and loving towards a now ex husband who comitted adultery. but teenage pregnancy and marriage does occur. apart from the obvious mishaps, i can watch reba for hours on end. if you like good sarcastic jokes then this definitly is the show for you!
Movie Review: Remembering Reba brings it all back Summary: 5 Stars
If you've only seen the recent episodes, then you must see how it all began. I've been a huge Reba fan for years and this show just shows how diverse her career has been. As a newly single parent in this disfunctional family, Reba along with her comical cast bring everyday situations some comic relief (well as much as you can get when your husband and his hygenist are expecting and your 17 year old daughter is now married with your first grandchild on the way). This is a terriffic series and just about the only one I would purchase on DVD.
Movie Review: AN INTELLIGENT FAMILY SITCOM Summary: 5 Stars
I am a big fan of this show. You do not have to like country music or country music culture at all to get this show which in which the characters can be sarcastic without being cruel and sweet without being over-the-top nauseous. The show treats the viewers as intelligent people - unlike most sitcoms which throw around cruel, sarcastic oneliners (Everybody DOES NOT love Raymond) or are so sugar-coated/heart-warming a person wants to vomit. All-around entertaining, smart tv for the whole family OR the single person.
Movie Review: love this season Summary: 5 Stars
I love this season because it introduces the characters in, I have just finished watching it and I loved it up until the ending I thought her singing at the end was a bit weird, but other than that I loved it, the extra feactures are great they have 2 diferent commentrys and and interview with reba and the woman that plays BJ. All in all it was a great season too bad or the next season I have watched half of it and am not so impressed with it hopefully season 3 will be better
