Movie Reviews of Reba - Season 1

Movie Review: Reba
Summary: 5 Stars

Reba is an usual show I ever seen, it look like a boring family t.v. show again. But it was different, these people have problems and they'll try to get by. Reba and Brock are divorced and moved in with his new girlfriend Barbara Jean and their child. Cheyenne there oldest is pregnant around seventeen and had a beautiful baby girl. Cheyenne is not the only teen mom I know, Where the Heart Is where Natalie Portman plays Novalee Nation a seventeen year old who just had a daughter Americus, The Gilmore Girls where Lauren Graham plays Lorelai Gilmore who had a daughter Rory when she was sixteen years old, Naomi Judd had Wynonna and Ashley when she was seventeen and twenty-one years old, Jennifer Moluf who had Cindy Crawford when she was eighteen years old. Joanna García has the greatest resemblance of Jessica Simpson. Steve Howey has the greatest resemblance of Chris Klein and Marc Blucas. I look at Van and Cheyenne they're like the perfect couple, I always wanted to be like. They're like Jim and Michelle from American Pie. I do envy them sometimes, just like I envy Brock and Barbara Jean.

Movie Review: Quit blaming television shows
Summary: 5 Stars

I love the reba show. I dont have a lot of time to sit and watch tv, but you can bet that I'm there every Friday night to watch this show. I've read some of the other reviews and quite honestly, I'm dissapointed in America as well as they are. It's not the Reba show that brings me such dissappointment, it's the attitudes of these people making remarks such as the Reba show is "Demoralizing" our nation. Grow up. The responsibility of raising children in this nation is not Reba McEntires, its the parents. I have two children ages 5 and 6, who also love this show, and they are very sensible kids who are way above their peers. I take responsibility for that, I dont hand it off to some tv show. We no longer live in a world where you're likely to run into Beaver Cleaver, instead you're more inclined to be met by someone like Cheyenne, Kiara, Van, Barbara Jean, Brock, or Reba, and personally, I'd chose the latter, at least they have personality!

Movie Review: Another Great Re-watchable Show on DVD
Summary: 5 Stars

Yes! I am so excited that the show "Reba" is finally coming to DVD. This show is one of those great comedies that you can watch over and over, and still laugh as hard as when you saw an episode the first time. "Reba" is original, fun, and the perfect family comedy series. My mom and i watch it together every Friday Night on the WB. I pre-ordered this so i could give it to my mom for christmas, and i know she'll love it! I'm especially excited to check out the DVD's special features, which include commentary with the cast, bloopers and outtakes! The bloopers sound fun to watch, because i've always wondered how hard it must be for the cast to keep a strait face when they are working with Steve Howey (who plays 'van') because i know i couldn't. If you haven't seen this show, you are missing out! It's on the WB, Friday nights at 9pm eastern time (but i'd check your local listings.) This is the perfect show and the perfect gift.

Movie Review: A great debut of a brilliant series
Summary: 5 Stars

"Reba" is a delightful comedy from The WB that is about the lives, loves and troubles that a family goes through while sticking together. You have Cheyenne (Garcia) and Van (Howey) who accidentally get pregnant in their senior year of high school. Then you have Reba (McEntire), who's husband Brock (Rich) cheated on her with his dental hygenist (Peterman) and got her pregnant and has filed for divorce so he can marry her. Then you have the two younger children as well. But this isn't all the series is about. It's about a family dealing with these problems and moving on in their lives together. This series may not have the "wholesome family values" of the family of the 50s and 60s, but it isn't that time anymore. Things have changed, and this show keeps it real by not going to that standard. There's a reason why it's a hit on The WB today. So pick it up, watch it and laugh. You won't regret it.
