Movie Reviews of Real GeniusMovie Review: A Classic! Summary: 5 Stars
What can I say? This is a classic movie, lots of fun and actually very believable with the technology used. If you are (or ever were) a budding science geek, this is for you!The DVD is double sided, with widescreen and cropped versions of the movie. A few trailers of other films and scene index - pretty basic. No extra interviews or other goodies. I've been waiting for this DVD for some time, and I'm glad that I finally have it.
Movie Review: Great Comedy Summary: 5 Stars
A very underrated film. Val Kilmer's performance was fantastic. His sarcasm rivaled that of Fletch, and in some ways surpassed it. Great casting and story line about a group of college kids whose project(s) are being manipulated by their professor into items of war. This movie has everything from laser-guided weapons to a guy living in a closet. Complete with unlimited sarcasm. Highly recommend, even for an 80's movie.
Movie Review: Good movie... Summary: 5 Stars
Kilmer acts the way I wish I could.
This is a great movie and aside from some major contituity flaws, stands as one of the few movies that I'll watch if I see it on the tellie while surfing through my 400 channels of ----...
Maybe it comes from knowing to many graduate assistants in college. This is the ultimate revenge flick...
A must have in anyone's cult movie collection...
Movie Review: Finally the DVD has come... Summary: 5 Stars
Just got the DVD today and watched it. Love this movie as always, as everyone else commented. The picture transfer is pretty darn good, not like I am viewing it on an HDTV or anything but for an old movie it looks nice. Obviously it doesn't have 5.1 sound or anything. Also no special features, just the movie. Even though the DVD is light on extras the movie itself still warrants the 5 stars.
Movie Review: Everybody wants to rule the world.... Summary: 5 Stars
I love classic 80s movies and this one tops off all the rest. I remember watching this when I was a little kid. I always wondered where lanslow went in the closet. I especially loved the ending (wont spoil it) but just hearing the theme song from Tears For Fears brings back lots of good times. My advice if you haven't seen it, pick it up, its well worth it!
