Movie Reviews of Raw Food Made EasyMovie Review: informative and easy! Summary: 5 Stars
I'm not much of a cook and I'm just starting to incorporate more raw food into my diet. Jennifer Cornbleet's dvd and book are tremendously helpful. For the first few items I made, I zipped to the recipe on the dvd and followed right along with Jennifer. It was easy and it worked! She also gives you tons of great tips on things others take for granted... like the best way to chop vegetables and how small you should break things up for the blender. And Jennifer seems like such a sunny, friendly person. Great resource. I highly recommend it!
Movie Review: SO EASY! AND CREATIVE Summary: 5 Stars
I'm a vegan, and have been for a couple of years, and am looking to incorperate more raw foods into our diet. Which means, I'm not ready to go all out and buy all kinds of crazy equipment, like a dehydrator etc. NONE of her recipes use a dehydrator, and all of the ones she goes over come in a little recipe book in the dvd packet. I thought I would have to write them all down while I watched, but no! She's so bubbly too, and she keeps it simple. No wacky healthfood items. This is an awesome start, and I'll probably buy her book now.
Movie Review: Excellent for the start-up enthusiast; makes the transition less painful. Summary: 5 Stars
I have been considering the healthy transition to raw, but it is not easy. Ms. Cornbleet makes it palatable and doable with such simplicity, elegance, and logical. I highly recommend this book as a startup and move into more complex receipes as your pallate desires. One last note, because her examples and explanations (which I highly recommend her DVD) of receipes, use of tools and appliances, and preparation is so simplified, you want to do more and create more raw dishes. Anyway, great book for the newbie...
Movie Review: A great DVD Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great DVD for those just starting out with raw foods. Jennifer shows just how easy and fast it is to create raw meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. There's also a discussion on how to stay raw when traveling. Jennifer demonstrates juicing, blending, nut milk bags, spiral slicing vegetables and much more. Basic food preparation techniques and kitchen appliances are also discussed. This DVD is well worth the money, and I am highly recommending it for all raw food beginners.
Movie Review: Outstanding Presentations Summary: 5 Stars
This is just an incredible presentation and how to DVD. Its one that you can watch over and over again. I've duplicated all of these recipes and they are flawless and very delicious. Her attention to simple details like substitutions and modifications really makes this an easy to follow instructional DVD. The presentations are clear, concise and very professional while down to earth and humble. Her book of the same title is a great companion.
