Movie Reviews of Rammstein - Lichtspielhaus

Movie Review: Art at its finest.
Summary: 5 Stars

Picasso, Degas, watch out...Rammstein is right behind you! I STRONGLY recommend this DVD to ANY person who loves art, music or German! Being a German student myself, I have to say that listening to Rammstein and watching their interviews has helped me become more and more fluent. Lichtspielhaus is the one DVD where you'll find everything you wanted to know about each individual Rammstein music video, from the lips of the industrial masters themselves. You can find interviews, behind the scenes shots, and watch how the videos were made. Then, you can watch the video itself to see all the photographic perfection at work! The interviews have German, English, French, Spanish, and Japanese subtitles- a broad variety for anyone who isn't fluent in German or English. Again, don't waste another minute- get Lichtspielhaus!!!

Movie Review: MUST BE OWNED
Summary: 5 Stars

Rammstein is a very important band.
They have character, and you can see this character in every work they do : lyrics, music, video.

Many people fall into the mistake of just going crazy with the music and dont care about the lyrics at all.
First , find the translations of the lyrics on the internet and get to know the songs and what they are talking about.
Second, get this DVD. The videos are excellent in many ways.

Rammstein hasnt become what it is today because of media pumping air into them. Unlike the rest of the bands that contaminate the music world today, Rammstein has become a giant despite the media, and despite all the negative propaganda.

For 10 dollars , a DVD of this quality is beyond belief.

Regards.

Movie Review: Outstanding Video Quality Plus Bonus Stuff...MUST HAVE
Summary: 5 Stars

I have liked Rammstein for years. I first heard of the group while living in Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany, South) back in the early nineties, and they have never disappointed. This DVD "Lichtspielhaus," is especially well put together, from the opening GUI, to the options, to the OUTSTANDING video cuts and editing. For example, in the interview section, the band talks about playing "Ich Will" in Amerika. Well, when the lyrics "ich will euere Hände sehen," they want the audience to raise their hands. Oh well, that is just a tangent, sorry, I love German/Germany. Even the instert is quality, I scanned all sides and made an excellent photo event/wall hanging....supreme! You will like it. You will love it, and you won't understand the cuss words unless you speak German. Enjoy!

Movie Review: A Rammstein Fan Must-Have!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've been a Rammstein fan since 1999 when my friend showed me Sehnsucht and I listened to it. I was instantly hooked on them, ever since I have collected every album, most singles, and a few live albums. Call me a die-hard fan.

When I got this DVD a few days ago, I was blown away. They have every video they have ever made. All the videos are in crystal clear video and have amazing sound. The only complaint is the older videos (Du Riechest So Gut, Seeman, Stripped) weren't as good as the later ones (Du Hast, Engel, Ich Will, Sonne).

Alot of the videos have a story line to them and all the lyrics are very poetic. This DVD is also filled with interviews, commericals, and making-of videos.

For any Rammstein fan, go out and buy this right now!

Movie Review: Perfect for the Rammstein fan
Summary: 5 Stars

I've loved Rammstein for years and like many fans find them a bit ellusive. Interviews are hard to come by, the band doesn't divulge their personal information, and for the most part they're clothed in secrecy. "Lichtspielhaus" lets you see another side of the band that you don't normally see. In their making the videos section, you see senses of humor come out from the band members. You see them tease each other, make jokes, and otherwise act like the opposite of the robotic, stoic creatures they appear to be normally. Interviews are a real mouthful and too lengthy...it seems impossible for a German to give a simple yes or no answer, and the DVD menu is a real challenge to navigate. Other than that, this is the DVD Rammstein fans have been waiting for.
