Movie Review: An Awesomely Bad Gem for Classical Singers
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie is completely ridiculous to anyone who knows anything about music. It is, for all intents and purposes, one of the most terrible movies ever made, but there is an enjoyable "awesomely bad" element for people who actually know about classical singing. Seeing "Caro Mio Ben" portrayed as this impossibly difficult song, even though it is the first and easiest classical piece, any singer learns, is quite funny. My personal favorite scene is when she sings "Caro Mio Ben' for her "scary" slavic music teacher the second time around because there is a metronome beating loudly in the back ground, yet Hilary Duff is singing in a completely unrelated tempo.

In summation, every classical singer should watch this and have a laugh.

There is no other reason to watch this movie. The director and actors obviously have no respect or knowledge of music.

Movie Review: Stop Stereotyping, People!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

My GOD!!! I am so tired of people saying "tween girls will love it!" and "take your daughter to see it!" It just makes me want to VOMIT!!

I am a 14 year old straight GUY and I LOVE this movie! And not just because of how Hilary looks, but because of her wonderful talent and to take in the captivating storyline.

Everyone seems to think that anything Hilary Duff does is soley for the entertainment of GIRLS, and they couldn't be more WRONG! Both genders EQUALLY love her and people need to learn to understand that. I am so sick of being considered a minority!

So, a REAL review should be:

This movie is incredible! Hilary Duff's acting was breathtaking and the finishing number will blow you away! I highly recomend it for BOTH genders of ALL ages!

Movie Review: Raise Your voice shines
Summary: 5 Stars

Okay so here's the deal, I never cry during movies, I just don't get too emotional about that kind of thing, but when I was watching "Raise Your Voice", I tried with all my power not to cry, but still couldn't retain myself. It was awesome, a wonderful roller coaster making me feel happy, sad, special, and just highly joyous. Hilary shined in it. The acting was wonderful, Rita Wilson made my mom cry more then once. It was such a leap from Hilary's usual ditzy blonde comedy characters, But Hilary pulled it off with Grace. I personally think Drama suits Hilary quite well. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly suggest you do so. It's not all sad-sad-cry-cry. There we're some great moments in there, some nice comedy as well. If your a girl, it's a great movie to see with your mom.

Movie Review: Much to my surprise, I LOVED it!!! :)
Summary: 5 Stars

I went to see Raise Your Voice expecting another Hilary Duff fluffy, fun, "'tween style" movie...what I got was a dramatic movie with many touching moments...believable and engaging, this movie brought me to tears several times, and left me feeling great! Hilary Duff is absolutely luminous in her role as Terri Fletcher, and the supporting cast turn in awesome performances. I can't understand the bad press this movie is getting...Hilary is wonderful in this movie and shines like a true movie star...she has grown far and beyond the "bubble gum princess" roles she has been associated with. This young lady is growing into a formidable talent, and I expect great things from her in the future. :)
