I'm new to Pilates. This one has been rated advanced, but it is still easy to follow. I can't do the moves nearly as gracefully or for as long in all of them, but it strengthens my core like nothing else has. I love the way all the moves flow from one to another continuously.

I really enjoyed this workout. He gives variations to make the moves more difficult for those with more experience. I think it is a good workout for whatever fitness level you are at.

If you love System 17, then you'll love System 27!!! It's more challenging but the core exercises are the foundation. I absolutely love it.
Movie Review: Not for the faint of heart Summary: 4 Stars
I really like this workout video. It leaves me feeling both physically and mentally relaxed, which is what a good workout should do. Rael Pilates is a thorough and comprehensive pilates workout. Rael provides effective form cues for the most part but for some reason never explains the Pilates stance with hips rotated externally. I like how he provides a few minutes of warmup and incorporates some yoga moves such as down dog and child's pose. Be aware that there are some advanced Pilates exercises, which if you are beginning you may want to skip.
