Movie Review: GREAT DVD - a must own for any Rush fan
Summary: 5 Stars
Rush adds another great DVD to their catalog - this one is as good as R30. Nice crisp picture, terrific sound (I watched in 5.1 with a 'rock concert' setting on my system and it rocked). Very generous set list and even the so-called 'bootleg' songs are very good (not sure why they called them bootlegs as the quality is quite good). Excellent camera work and great editing, plus the extras on disc one are nice additions. Rush is a band made for the DVD medium. The band shows off their sense of humor in some of the short clips and totally tears it up onstage. Now that i think of it, having seen them many times, i don't think they ever give less than 100% onstage, and this DVD reflects it. Excellent value for the money. Here's hoping maybe they can bring out some vintage shows next......Movie Review: Slightly less than perfekt

Yes, this concert DVD is really good. Its a good song selection and excellent performances. My only complaint is the camera work during the drum solo. During the drum solo, they have too much footage from the back of the arena.
When I buy a RUSH concert video, 95% of the reason I'm buying it is to see the drum solo (up close). Unfortunately whoever was selecting the camera angles decided to use too many distance shots. Kind of stupid.
They might as well have aimed the camera at the floor and filmed that instead. It would have been about as interesting.
Don't get me wrong, not all the camera angles are that bad. Just the ones from the back of the house.
All in all, its a great concert and as another review said, the bonus features are pretty funny.

You will love this Snakes and Arrows DVD for many reasons. As a drummer, one of the best things about it should be Neil Peart's Rotterdam Netherlands drum solo! When I saw Neil play his drum solo in Virginia in July of 2008, it was the best drum solo I've ever seen in my entire life! Well I guess maybe tied with Buddy Rich because I saw him once but that's jazz and he's Buddy Rich - long story. You know, Rush will not disappoint if you get this DVD - they never have. They are hard workers, humanitarians, seem like super nice musicians and in my opinion RUSH is the best rock music band in the universe, but I'm biased! I've been Neil's biggest fan since I was 10 years old! We love you very much Neil, Ged and Alex!Movie Review: There is Never Too Much.........

I totally agree that this can confidently be rated a 5 before we even see it. True RUSH fans know it will be perfect. Every time I have gotten wind of a live DVD over the past six or seven years I get a little nervous. I fear that the powers that be will think there is too much live stuff coming out. Naturally there are going to be repeated songs. Anyway, from 1977 to 1997 I never missed seeing them live on their tours. Then I got sick and am now unable to go to the concerts. The fact that they have released a DVD of the concerts I have missed is fantastic. I just hope that continues, after the next tour another live DVD. True Rush fans will never tire of seeing the greatest musicians hitting the stage today.Movie Review: LONG LIVE RUSH!!

Well were should we start,,Hmm,,as of 1976, Rush 2112 tour was my 1st rock concert,,saw Farewell to Kings,Hemispheres,Moving Pictures,Signals,Vapor Trails,30th Anniv.,,& of course Snakes & Arrows,an album were thee artist's,have taken a deep look within themselves & Life Realities,the Good & the Bad,The DVD here is Awesome!,and to have the Atlanta show for Closure,was a Gift,and a good deed by Alex,Geddy & Neil,Its a Great live performance of the group,its a Comedy side of the band as well,especially Alex,,If you are a Rush fan,Please don't hesitate to buy this DVD,like I said its AWESOME!!,so heres to three Great men,,Alex,Geddy & Neil,,Long Live Rock & Roll,Long Live RUSH!!,Bob Loganville,GA
