Movie Review: The Thirteenth Sign Of The Zodiac - The Wheel of Time
Summary: 5 Stars

Ouroboros, the Serpent Holder.

The sign of the Suntelia Aion is the sun rising out of the mouth of the ouroboros, which will occur on the solstice December 21, 2012 which links with the Mayan Calendar as a symbolic date the evolution of consciosness in the alchmey of time. This also goes to Quetzalcoatl and accelerating Earth changes in the Ring of Fire.

The Greeks called the end of the age Suntelia Aion. Plato refered to a cycle of catastrophe at the end of the age. The Suntelia Aion was symbolized by the Ouroboros. The myth of the Ouroboros refers to a serpent of light that resides in the heavens. The Milky Way galaxy is that serpent and when viewed from galactic central point it eats its own tail.

Astrologists say we are entering a new age now, 2010 said by some to be the first year that we spend more days in Aquarius than in Pisces.

Movie Review: perfect example; give the fans what they want, awesome; except the video guy misses most of Neils key fills/drumming!
Summary: 5 Stars

1) excellent, stellar audio mixing
2) thanks Rush for giving us the 4 tracks from the second leg, and giving the fans what they want, not many bands do this, am grateful
3)funny, can do without spendthreft off S&A, funny the 4 songs not played are probably the best on the cd (i.e. Good News First....,,,)
4)also, whoever is in charge of the video, you are missing Neil's best fills/drumming, not sure how you are doing him justice, totally surprising when you are focusing on the wrong member
5) props to the audio engineer though...2nd to none, the 5.1 is superior to the pcm
6)the bonus 4 songs from Atlanta, video guy got it right, unlike the main show; they should have just filmed the dvd in the states; hopefully next time!
7) thanks again Rush for giving us the ENTIRE and COMPLETE show AND MORE!!!! unlike some other bands (i.e. Live)
:)

Movie Review: Finest Rush product ever
Summary: 5 Stars

I have everything Rush has ever sold. This is the finest concert recorded .......ever. The performance, lights , sound, ans song selection are the best they have ever done. I have seen them so many times that there are those great songs they never do......here they have performed many of their best that they never perform with many standards. Witch Hunt alone was worth the purchase. I am now buying the Blue Ray version since I got a player. Their other dvds are great but this is best recording of a music performance ever.....not just another compilation of what you have already seen. The filming is breathtaking and there are lots of humorous moments too. Neil Peart seems to be out of his funk he has seemed to be in for so long and that makes me very glad for him. He is one of my personal heroes and my favorite drummer of all time.

Movie Review: Unbelievable video and sound - Rush is in top form!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is an amazing DVD. I really feel like I am standing on stage when I watch this. The sound is better than the studio CD and the guys are in top form these days, for sure. Geddy is singing better than ever and writing really good vocal lines. The S&A songs are very well written and live they take on a whole new life.

I was on the 4th row in Alpharetta GA on the second leg of the tour (July 22nd, 2008) and that show was the best I'd ever seen, and thankfully also recorded in HD for the bonus disk.

My favorite songs are the drum solo, of course, The Way the Wind Blows, Spindrift, and especially Armor and Sword - a perfect blend of 70's and early 80's Rush. These songs resonate emotionally and visually.

I can't wait to get the Blu-Ray version.

A must own!

Movie Review: RUSH, GIVES ME A "RUSH" LIKE ALWAYS
Summary: 5 Stars

This was terrific! These guys have been together for over 30 years, yet they still have their voices and talents and they still look pretty good too!
They are known for their technical mastery and consistantly great live performances. On this video, I noticed instead of the three washing machines going on in the background they had this chicken deal going on!

The 2007 tour outakes were great! I loved the alternate cut from Far Cry and of course the great staples, The Trees, Red Barchetta, 2112,Ghost of a Chance.

Neil Peart's drum solo was amazing. He usually is, but this time instead of it just been really cool drums and symbol beating, it sounded actually musical in it's tone.

Actually, there really wasn't anything about this I didn't just love!
