queer as folk certainly is one of the most gripping, emotional and funny tv-show around. no other show - not even the l-word which came out earlier than qaf in germany - depicts gaylesbian life as unapologetic and honest as this show. all thumbs available up!!! what are you waiting for! This was the best season of QAF! However, I didn't really like how it ended, for some reason it felt like an anti-climax with the sudden change of character and change of mind between Brian and Justin (sorry if im giving away too much). This Ladies is a must too see , it has a twist of an ending but I'm not going too tell you anything about it. so there. if you wish too know about the show laidies then go out and grab it and if you dont have all the seasons then buy them all for this show is one of a kind and will more than likly never be again. for move over Will & Grace for that a kids show this show is for the adults and you ladies know what I'm talking about, grab all seasons all 5 seasons, its great and wonderfull, I just wish that the way they ended the show that they would have another year thats all. tks.Movie Review: A glorious end to a monuemental series!

Hmm... For me, Queer As Folk is not just another program or series but a personal journey. I remember watching my first episodes when I was only 17 (still in the closet) while my parents slept. This final season has brought together, admirably, many of the loose stories and adventures that veterans and new comers to the season can both appreciate.
This final season not only attest to the outstanding artistic scope and vision of the directors as can be enjoyed through the dynamic cinematography that somehow heightens the onlooker's emotions while simultaneously invoking untold feeling through music selection throughout the episodes. (I also have owned the soundtrack for season 5 for over a year!)
But incontrovertibly, the best aspect of the final season is that the directors and story writers transformed the story truly reflecting the evolution of the characters as the audience has come to bond with them while placing untold new obstacles into the story line without repletion or monotony!
This series has not only been a journey for the creators and artists but also a journey for me as well...
