Movie Review: Non-Stop Action...no chance to catch your breath

Excellent follow-up to Casino Royale! Quantum of Solace is absolutely packed with action -- you have no chance to catch your breath as you join James Bond on another globe-trotting adventure. I love Daniel Craig as James Bond. He is definitely the most masculine, hardest hitting James Bond ever. Pierce Brosnan and the others were all a bit too soft and effeminate. Daniel Craig is all man. Any viewer, male or female, will enjoy Daniel Craig as James Bond. Excellent cinematography and action sequences. I, personally, found Quantum of Solace even better than Casino Royale (which I love, too!).Movie Review: Much better than expected

This is one of the best Bond movies I've ever seen. Maybe I just clicked with it, but maybe it is the cinematographic skill. I usually don't care much for action scenes as they are terrible predictable, however this film put me on the edge of the seat: it was real and unpredicable while still being slick and glamorous. Daniel Craig did a fantastic job, his character was easy to emphasize with but he retained the tough Bond factor and resolution. Visuually it was rather terrific too, as well subtle Bond humour was well placed. I can't wait to see the next installment.Movie Review: Good. Really, really good.

When I first saw this in the theater, I wasn't that impressed. I think that Casino Royale was one of the best Bond movies in a long, long time. It was a true Bond to the books, not the Hollywood Hype.
However, when I re-watched it at home, I liked it a lot. It is not as true to the books as Casino Royale, but pretty close. There is a lot of action, but it is not a straight action movie like the Brosnan stuff was.
It has a little of the Bond charm, intrigue and flow.
It was nice to see.
Movie Review: fast-paced thrill ride

Take a deep breath -- you're in for a very fast thrill ride. I felt like I had run a marathon after watching this movie -- out of breath, very tired, but completely exhilirated. Daniel Craig is terrific in this movie! It seems like he has reinvented and definitely rejuvenated James Bond. Craig is so muscular and fit that he brings a believability to his stunts and fight scenes that has been absent from the other Bond films. For those of you who enjoy "ACTION" movies with a shot of adrenelin -- this one is definitely a "must see".Movie Review: Great Movie

Though others have commented that this movie pales in comparison with Casino Royale, it is actually better for a few reasons:
- Daniel Craig is more comfortable in his role as Bond
- The settings are better
- Better plot
Casino Royale spent too much time in the casino, which wasn't interesting. Quantum of Solace has a more interesting plot which picks up just minutes after the end of Casino Royale. With that said, watching Quantum of Solace without having seen Casino Royale would be difficult.
