Movie Review: Cute sexual Coming of Age film
Summary: 5 Stars
This is a cute coming of age movie. This 1981 film could be rated PG13 these days. It is for 1981 drive in movie standards, where I saw this film the first time. So a classic sexual film, I would not bet the farm. If you are looking for great filmmaking, this isnt it..it is just a great coming of age comedy with a lot of sexual overtones.
Loosely based upon Dan Greenburg's novel Philly, this cute coming age of age comedy about a 15 year old who need to get women expierence. The funniest scenes is with Sylvia Kristel trying to teach Eric Brown's Philly sexual lesson.
Howard Hessemen (who was at the rime this film was out played Dr Johnny Fever on WKRP) channeled his inner sleezy as Lester in this film. Ed Begley Jr outgrew his Disney image played Jack
So if you have 90 minutes for lite adult-ist fare, this one is for you

Movie Review: Make sure you don't buy the Korean pirate version off Ebay

It was a great teaser film from the mid-80s, and as any young male would be, I was captured. I've had the film on VHS for many years, and recently bought a DVD copy off eBay. Big mistake! It was a Korean pirated copy no less. The box cover states "No Cut," but in my opinion, their intentional digital blurring out of the two crotch shots merits a slight respelling "No Cunt." I haven't yet bought this DVD from Amazon, but will likely do so, although I'm becoming more and more skeptical of anything new on DVD. Most new releases of older material tend to suffer from some form of remastery liberty or denegration. If this Amazon copy isn't completely intact and presented in Widescreen, I'm just going to return it and dub my mint VHS copy to DVD.Movie Review: A genre masterpiece!

As a youngster, I remember this movie well! If your a young woman you want to cheer Eric Brown our hero. And if your a young man, you want to be Eric Brown a wealthy young lad whos lucky enough to recieve the attentions of his ultra sexy houskeeper, the very comely Sylvia Kristel. Needles to say, this is every american boys fantasy.
Add to this the very funny Howard Hessman as our protagonist, as well as a decent supporting cast and the result is a very well made for its time independant film thats sure to please fans of Sylvia Kristel, as well as fans of young boy gets older woman films. Of those types of films this ones the very best.

I may not be a great judge for this movie because I am a sucker for teen sex comedies. As in the film "My Tutor" (which I also own), a younger man seduces (or is being seduced in this case)his beautiful older teacher who stays with him all summer to get an education he did not expect to get! if you want great film making, skip this. If you want a 1 and 1/2 hour escape with a great late 70's soundtrack, then you might enjoy this.Movie Review: i'm in the movie
