Movie Reviews of Prison Break: Season TwoMovie Review: Pulsating !! Summary: 5 Stars
I thought Season 1 was good. Imaginative and gripping. Season 2 did not started out as well as where Season 1 had ended. But once it begins to pick up pace, it just become hard to stop watching. This season, there are several other sub-plots to support the Michael-Lincoln main storyline. We also get to peep further into the conspiracy, which hopefully becomes clearer in Season 3.
However die-hard fans of Michael may find that he had to share the limelight with other people this season, unlike the case where he being the sole backbone in last sesaon. This is because this time, the rest of the original characters were given a more in-depth analysis. I personally like how the show gradually unfold agent Kellerman, T-Bone and Sara's characters.
Overall, Season 2 lives up to expectation. Hope everyone enjoys as much as I had.
Movie Review: Over the Wall Doesn't Mean They're Free Summary: 5 Stars
In season one, the break team pulled an impossible escape from a maximum security prison. A death row inmate, his brother, a mob boss, a serial rapist/killer, a mental patient, a small time armed robber, a pickpocket, and a transporter of stolen goods have made it over the wall - but that wall isn't the only thing between themselves and freedom.
A high-ranking conspiracy is willing to stop at nothing to capture and kill these men, and as they run for their lives, they are also running towards something. Freedom, money, safety, family, revenge... these forces direct their lives as they try to ultimately find the road to redemption. Plus, as the forces of law and order chase those who broke the law, it becomes less and less clear just who are the good guys in a manhunt that spans the United States - and well south of the border.
Movie Review: Prison run part two! Summary: 5 Stars
I couldn't wait for this second season to be released on dvd. I had missed the entire season because of work. I'm so happy that I got to continue this season as the new season just started, it's a great show that keeps you tuned. Some parts fool you into thinking whats going to happen but then they change the characters story making you think it was something else. You'd understand what I'm saying as you'll watch it. It's a mini suspense show in my opinion because you can see some of things coming. It's a great show, thats different and gives you an idealistic life of a escape convict. I can't wait for season 3. It just gets better and better each time. I thought the show would be over after the first season, but they're still at it. Great show, I highly recommend it.
Movie Review: Fantastic Follow Up Summary: 5 Stars
I love this show! And Season Two, amazingly, does not disappoint. You might think that once the prisoners make the "break," there would be a lack of compelling storytelling to follow up. Not so! Inspired writing, casting and some of the best production values in contemporary television come together to make a very original and pulse-pounding season.
The DVD extras were of little interest to me, personally, but there are plenty available for diehard fans and curiousity seekers.
Seeing the complete season on DVD is the way to go with this show because of the continuing storyline from episode to epispode.
Looking forward with great anticipation to Season 3 to see how the creative time will keep up the good work.
Movie Review: Visual Addiction Summary: 5 Stars
What a cracker. This is to television what drugs are to an addict. My wife and I were riveted from the off. This was a piece where character development was steady, story line ebbed and flowed, suspense was maintained and the high standard from series one was actually exceeded. When series 1 ended, the question that sprung to mind was 'Prison's broken, police on your heels, c'mon get real?'. The ensuing hunt, the introduction of new equally flawed characters (on both sides of the legal spectrum) and and the puzzle that is Michael Schofield (and his tattoos) made this more unmissable than series 1. Do yourself a favour, take out the popcorn, sit yourself down and enjoy.
