Movie Review: There's a SECRET to this movie
Summary: 5 Stars

The secret to a truly scary time watching this movie does not even require watching it....embedded within the audio track are deep bass tones that are too low to hear, however they will make your internal organs vibrate causing a sense of nervousness and fear. You have to have really good bass speakers or subwoofer. My BOSE Acoustimass works great. Also, try listening to The Exorcist on a good surround system....you will run screaming from your home.

Movie Review: One of Carpenter's best from the 80's
Summary: 5 Stars

I saw this a long time ago and liked it.So I decided to pick it up. The story is pretty good and the effects are great. Of course Donald Pleasance does another good job in a Carpenter film. He's been in Halloween and Escape From New York so this would be his third. I also liked Alice Cooper's performance as one of the creepy homeless people. John Carpenter's had some decent films over the years but this is his best next to The Thing and The Fog.

This is a very scary movie. Not as good as Halloween or The Fog, but it is a good one and shouldn't be missed. Sure it's a little hokey and cheezy in parts, but overall this is a pretty chilling movie that is seriously underated. This is one you must watch alone in the dark.

John Carpenter was always good. In Prince of Darkness, he out did himself for the time period this was made. Great story & special effects. Highly recommended.
