Movie Review: Feel Good Movie
Summary: 5 Stars
How many times is a political drama called a feel good movie? It may have done bad at the box office, but it was only because people were tired of the Clinton bashing. Yes this movie picks at Bill Clinton's 'bad' habits, but it makes me feel good. Not in the sense that I'm better, but the sense that I can laugh and go through the ups and downs of the movie and come through at the end with a good ending. It makes me want to see West Wing episodes of Jack Stanton's White House. Hands down, I love this movie.Movie Review: Excellent look at behind the scenes at the Clinton camp

I love this movie. Its so funny; I laughed all the way through it. John Travolta as Bill Clinton, Emma Thompson as Hillary, Billy Bob Thornton as James Carville...okay so those aren't the characters' names in the movie but you can figure out who they are supposed to be as the movie goes along. Kathy Bates deserved an Oscar for her moving performance. Rent it, buy it, watch it, you won't regret it. Forget about the Clinton scandals and watch it for its own worth as an excellent movie.Movie Review: A great political film!

If you saw 1993's DAVE,starring Kevin Kline,you'll love this one. In this film starring John Travolta,whose character is physically like Bill Clinton's,he is of course,a presidential nominee. Great support from Maura Tierney(LIAR,LIAR),Billy Bob Thornton(SLING BLADE,BAD SANTA) and of course Rob Reiner. This film was made in 1997,during the Clinton era. Many people who saw this film also saw THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT(directed by Reiner) and MY FELLOW AMERICANS.Movie Review: John Travolta for President!

One can't help thinking how timely the release of this DVD was as the Clinton-Lewinsky sex scandal reached a crescendo. The movie eerily mirrors the presidency of another southern Governor who can't keep it in his pants! Mike Nichols, the director of The Graduate, deserves an Oscar nomination for his superb direction of this all-star cast. If its true,Man,what an adventure it was for Bill Clinton's team to get him in the White House.
If you love politics like I do,you will really enjoy this film.
