I love this movie. I like the remakes too, but this is a classic. Greer Garson is fantastic!!! And of course Laurence Olivier is striking and handsome as always. More light-hearted and less dramatic than the remake, but still tells a beautiful story.Movie Review: Pride and prejudice

IT WAS AMAZING. I have seen both this one with Omar Shariff and Greer Garson, and the newer one with Kiera Knightly. The older one is better. It is really something to see how she changes him, and how falls in love with her. Great great movie.Movie Review: Best of Jane Austen!
