Movie Review: Deserves More Credit Than It's Getting
Summary: 4 Stars
Ok, sure, the movie doesn't have that original of a story line, but honestly, I did not even think about that until after watching the movie. While in the middle of it, the thought didn't even cross my mind. It's incredibly well acted, all around, though, in my opinion, Edward Norton really was the best performance in the movie (when isn't this true, though). All in all, it's an interesting, rather intense, well acted movie that isn't all that original in its premise.Movie Review: Love Ed Norton

Felt almost like a documentary, as if a camera was following around actual police officers. Story of rotten cops, who will do anything to cover their tracks and feed their greed, is very realistic. Ed Norton, as usual, turns in an impressive turn as the good cop who refuses to compromise his morals, even when given an easy way out.
Very violent, too much cursing, but given the story line, those faults are forgivable.
Two thumbs up.

I did really like this movie. I waited a long time for this movie to hit the theaters and come to dvd. This movie has been delayed so many times the last couple of years. The actors and the director had some issues. It's really just another good cop/bad cop new york movie, but the acting makes it a must watch. Come on, you got two of the best actors in it, Colin Farrel and Ed Norton, I recommend Pride and Glory!Movie Review: A solid movie

1. I agree with many of the other reviewers in that the storyline may be unoriginal, but... who cares if it's a good movie, and this is a good movie.
2. The writing and acting are very good, which make for a very worthwhile movie. All who are fans of E. Norton or C. Farrell--> definitely should check out this very good movie.

Yes, this is the same old cop story re-done, but it was well done! There is a weight and a grit that Colin Farrell brings to the movie that you feel. Every character fits. Every move by the actors flow. This is so worth seeing... the baby scene is terrifying. OMG! The acting was fantastic.
