Movie Review: just incredible

what can you say about this band that has not already been said. easily the greatest band in the last 20 years. IN ABSTENIA AND DEADWING, think DARK SIDE OF THE MOON AND WISH YOU WERE THERE! Steve Wilson is the best lead singing and lead guitarist since David Gilmour. the drummer is a young Neil Peart. the bassist a smiling John Paul Jones. excellent keyboards and rythym guitar. start with SIGNIFY and just buy everything since then. my favorite DVD is PINK FLOYD at pompei. a mindblowing dream. but PT comes close. Received my disc last night and, after some attitude adjustment, got down to bizness. What can one add to the other rave reviews presented herein? Sound and video - excellent. Have been into this band since around 95 and definately agree with the other reviewers that PT is (and has been) the best band on the planet for the past ten years. Missed a chance to see them in Atlanta last year, but this set makes me feel a whole lot better about it. If you havn't heard this band, do yourself a favor, get into it. Excellent musicianship, sound and video production...... wwwwoooooowwww.....I was blown away. Highly entertaining, and with a great song selection. The additional features are a bit on the poor side, specially missing a documentary as special features (bad habit from the DT DVDs), just to get to know the band a bit better. But the main feature compensates, 'cause it would be a 5 star even if it didn't bring any additionals. After seeing this, it makes me think it's worth travelling to another country to see them live.Movie Review: Just as I remember it...

This is a great DVD. Produced well, great sound, and really captures the essence of the tour. If you saw the concert, it will allow you to relive the experience. If you didn't you will get to see what you missed. The music can be haunting but strangely uplifting at times. The second disc providing music videos run at the concert plus other specials puts this at 5 stars for sure. Love the Cymbal Song! If you are a Porcupine Tree fan, or even just a progressive rock fan, I highly recommend this DVD.Movie Review: absolute must have for p.t. fans//

Being a p.t. fan, i was very excited when this was released/it is from a show at the park west in chicago; a place i used to go to when i lived there/the bottom line is that this show was excellent and gave me the feeling of being there; not all music dvds do this/the selection of songs is just great and the sound quality is superior/it feels intimate and a good one to sit back with a glass and enjoy from beginning til end/i would have paid more for this gem/peace
